I hadn't been in years but my daughter wanted a Turkey Leg. The owner was very sweet and interactive. She didn't have what I went there initially for but I couldn't leave without something. I got a slab of ribs, and oowee was they good. Alot of flavor and tender. Her brother did the works on the grill. They were both great to talk with. The place is a small front but clean.

Woodhouse grill is a must stop. If you’re anywhere in the united states google this place and go find it! The ribs are tender juicy and smoked to perfection. The mouth watering pork chops will melt in your mouth. Bake beans,potato salad,Mac and cheese and candied yams were all delicious. The two gentlemen and young lady working were friendly,courteous and professional. My wife and I are already planning our next trip to Woodhouse.

Being the 4th of July you would not dare expect to receive the type of services that you received at this place of business today the ribs are extremely tough and the chicken was burnt this is horrible for the 4th of July I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

Authentic smoked bbq! Specifically the rib tips, pork steak, and wings. Great flavor and seasoning! Great customer service from the young ladies! I visited after I left a va appointment. As a chef things become redundant, this was a nice surprise and one of the better bbq places and price points, I've ever saw!!!! Please check them out

My plate is deceiving, because I ate almost half of the meat before I decided to take pictures. Please play is filled with deliciousness. These ribs tips are so good and tender. The baked beans have sausage in them. Heck, All the food is good. When I get the craving for grilled meat, this is the place. This may have been my first time going, but it definitely won't be my last time going if I can help it. GET YOU SOME of this GOODNESS!!!I'm already looking forward to the next time and haven't even finished this plate.

We seen this place back when I had my second surgery here in Jackson. We were looking for a good bbq spot to try. We got there and they were closing. TODAY we went back to try it. We like new places. They have that wood smelling good on that grill. So excited, we got the rib tips green beans and corn. We just got back to the hospital and started eating and immediately, now we wish we had went somewhere. The rib tips have amazing flavor, I do admit. BUUUT they were SO EXTREMELY CHEWY DRY, LIKE HOME MADE BEEF JERKY. My fiancé WILL NOT eat them. Oooh and he is PIST PIST.YALL GOTS TO DO BETTER. $15 isn't bad first the price. But we want fresh food. It's like we got what had been back there from yesterday. When I get dry meat and a few HARD pieces of RIB TIPS, that's not my place to go back to any more.

??????????????????????????I've been waiting to go to this place for over a year. We believe in supporting black own businesses. Got here to Jackson and WOODHOUSE GRILL BAR AND LOUNGE we went. I just left there and thought I had me some good rib tip. I mean they had them suckas smelling SOOO DELICIOUS. YOU KNOW THEY Smoke their meat with real wood and all. Got back to this hospital AND OH MY GOD. THE WORST RIB TIPS I'VE EVER HAD. I couldn't and will NOT EAT THIS. THEY GAVE US SOME HOOD NOT GOOD BUT HOOD SMOKED BEEF JERKY. If we wasn't so far I'd brought the whole plate back. $15 gone down the drain. WOODHOUSE GRILL BAR and Lounge, YOU WILL NEVER SEE USAGAIN. Lucky I can't add this picture so y'all can see this dry beef jerky..
