Drove past several times before realizing it was open since they were renovating. Awesome service and good food. Had shrimp and chicken platter while better half had shrimp only. Fresh deep frying was nice and crispy. French fries were awesome. Chicken was a little dry. Found they have a Facebook page that tells you what the daily specials are. We'll be checking that out. Looking forward to trying more items on the menu.
I had the fried fish dinner and the southern crispy fish was fried perfectly -not over-battered or greasy.The fries were perfect also- of a size that they stayed soft in the middle while crispy in the outside (I bet the debris fries are GREAT!)Husband had thee very tasty hamburger plate with mashed potatoes and gravy.Next time I want a pork shop and Mac and cheese.
So I've passed it many times and haven't pulled in. Today I did! It is not just a grab and go as the original sign states. It is a sit down eat in place as well. What prompted me to stop today is they are NOW SERVING BREAKFAST ?. Happy Happy. They are open from 7-7 breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I order the "BIg Boy Breakfast" a little sample of breakfast. I have to say everything was absolutely tastey, sausage, ham, bacon, eggs, hashies, pancakes, and coffee....
