“My grandson had the best birthday ever. We flew in for lunch and everyone from the hospitality on the taramac to entrance through the front doors and beyond gave us all such a warm and welcoming and friendly greeting.The pilots that were flying in and out made my grandson eager to learn more about aviation.Several pilots more than willing gave my grandson thier time to speak with him and encourage his curiosty of aviation.The homade mac and cheese was the bedt !Thanks to his aunt Leilani and uncle Tony Rosebaum for taking him up on his first flight. Great atmosphere all around.Kid-friendliness: My grandson was in awe of the military training pilots that took thier time to speak with him encouraging him in the field of aviation. Several also gave him patches off their uniforms.He said it was the best birthday ever!”

“Don't let the sign out front fool you lmao...Upon arrival, I thought for sure this was a New Orleans knock off serving school cafeteria red beans and rice. When I left....and every time I eat there, I find the word, "New Orleans" misspelled on the sign to be endearing. “Stopped in today and we had an amazing time !! It has been several months since we have been here and with Covid messing things up , I can say without a doubt … they are back !! The beer is fantastic!! We tried five different beers and can honestly say we enjoyed all of them. The pizza is by far the best pizza we have ever had and we will not bother to go anywhere else for pizza !! It’s a must try!! You will NOT be disappointed !! We even considered ordering another pizza to go !! It’s that good !! The staff is fantastic ! We loved the music !! What more could you ask for ?? Go right now and enjoy the best pizza ever and the best beer as well. They have flights and also wings, meatballs and garlic knots !! This needs to be on your to go list ! Dog friendly !!! “My husband, daughter and I stumbled on this restaurant heading home from Louisiana to Florida and we cannot say enough good things about the food, the service or the overall atmosphere. In my 64 years I don't know of a Mexican meal I have enjoyed more. I hate I live so far away but will definitely put this on my must do list next trip I am headed west.”

“If I was rating this place on food and the server we had I would rate it a five, but I am throwing in the pre-dinner service and reception upon arrival for a large group, which I found lacking.The good is that our server did an excellent job. The food was very good, everything came out it a timely manner and was great.The negative:I phoned about a month in advance to explain that I was looking for a reservation for 25 to 40 people with questions about them being able to accommodate and the logistics. I was assured it was no problem. I phoned with a reservation for 25 two weeks prior to the date and said I would let them know if that changed. Four days before the reservation I phoned with an updated number of 30; I had to leave a message on voicemail. The day of, about four hours in advance, I phoned to make sure they knew that there would be 30 and that the voicemail had been received. I was told yes it had.We arrived at the restaurant, I told the hostess our group and number of guests. She said the reservation was for 25. She acted a bit put out that it was a larger number. The reservation was for 6pm and of course there was part of the group that got there early, not more than 15 minutes. We didn't really expect to be seated early, but it was 6:20 before we did get seated, so we had senior citizens standing outside for 30 minutes. They had a set of tables for twenty that was ready when we arrived and the other tables they were waiting for diners to finish.I mentioned to the hostess that I was surprised with our group size that they didn't sit us in a separate room. The response was, well you would have had to give us a deposit. This was the first that I had even heard that this was an option. Giving a deposit would not have been an issue. I'm not sure why when I made the original inquiry about booking that I wasn't given this option.I felt like they should have seated the tables they had for twenty and let them order drinks while they waited for the other tables to be available. We had people with canes standing outside for 30 minutes while those tables sat empty. We had someone in the group request to go to the bar and get drinks while they waited and the hostess told them that if they did, they might have to get up if they needed the seating for a diner at the bar without a reservation.I never saw the hostess smile once or make eye contact with a single person, not to anyone in our group, or several people that showed up and were seated while we waited. Maybe she was having a rough night, but as a business owner, I sure wouldn't want that the first interaction my guests got. Several in our party thought she was just to the point of being rude.As I said in the beginning, the server and the food were very good, but it would behoove them to have all of their employees on the same page when it comes to what they have available to accommodate groups and to share that when people are booking.”

“We love Lazy Magnolia Beer. We were excited to visit in person. Website hours said they were open from 10-6 on Sunday. We drove 40 minutes and got there to a closed brewery. The hours on the door said open… the voicemail said they were open. Another couple sat out front confused. Update your hours please we’d love to try again and I’ll delete this if it was a mistake….Update 12/9/23: We tried again on Saturday. We asked about them being closed when the hours said they were open and they explained they closed early due to lack of business. It was unfortunate for us l, but I get it. We enjoyed the flights we got and the pizza and meatballs were good. The staff was friendly. I’d call before I went on a Sunday though.”

Our friend who is a big Packer/Brett Favre fan had to go - for why, see: of stuff on the walls and ceilings worth asking and talking about. I think they only serve beer (and a cider - Angry Orchard), along with...heating up pizzas....smoking is outside...open 1pm to 8 am on weekends.”

“Good food, friendly service, great value in a cozy setting. Thought I'd give Sunrise Cafe a chance about a month ago and just recently went again. Both visits were positive all the way around. I had the Philly Omelet on my first visit - claim is in the name - very tasty! On my second visit I had the Corn beef hash, which was OK, but less impressive than the Philly Omelet in my opinion. I prefer a hardier homemade version vs hash that looks similar to Hormel from a can. My wife had the Patty Melt and said it as good as any she'd ever had! Overall - nice spot, good value, tasty food with friendly service.”

“Overall, dining at this restaurant was a delight from start to finish. The delicious food, amazing service from Sissy, & charming atmosphere made for a memorable experience. Situated right off the Bay St Louis/Waveland exit it is perfect for stopping & having a quick bite before continuing on your journey. The portion sizes are large, I was able to take 1/2 my meal & appetizer home. The fried fish & grilled fish basket are fabulous ?, & the hamburger steak meal is sooo good. Try the onion rings!!! ?I highly recommend this Cafe!”

“Just excellent. I can't believe I didn't write a review in July. Ms. Mary's sits right in the middle of downtown Bay St. Louis. There are tables where you can eat outside. I really like the nectar flavor stuffed with ice cream. You can't go wrong with that. I have gotten shaved ice sno-balls in New Orleans and Ms Mary's is just as good! I'll be back!”

We ordered a small - wow - MUCH bigger than the large at the well-known chains. All that at an extremely reasonable prices! If you eat there, expect simplicity. For take out, be sure to check sizes unless you're good with having leftovers!?”

“Delicious daiquiris in Diamondhead! This little drink bar is so cute and friendly. You used to have to drive to the Bay to get a daiquiri but now you can get one right here in Diamonhead. The king cake is seasonal so get it while you can! It's made with lactose free ingredients and vodka, and topped with classic Mardi Gras pride. We also ordered the mango and margarita flavors to make a mango margarita. The drinks hit just right.”
