“We just stayed one night at Jenny's, but a perfect one night it was. The home is so beautiful - cozy and decorated perfectly. Our room (the LaPan Suite) was lovely and so comfortable. It happened that we got a good Mississippi rain the night and morning we were there and sitting on the screened porch, enjoying the rain, was dreamy. The rain broke long enough for us to walk into town for dinner, which was so nice. Then breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious. Jenny and her husband are wonderful hosts. Highly recommend a stay there if you are visiting Laurel.“

“Don’t sleep on Classic Cookie!! We “always have and always will” order our cakes from here. My personal favorite is all chocolate icing but my sweet boy wanted a Spider-Man design and was thrilled when he opened the box to find this. It’s also not uncommon for us to swing by and grab all of the mini critters available in their case. I appreciate the owners and their dedication to this business for so many years as well as their customer service. 🍪“

“This is the best and most authentic Mexican food in Laurel. It’s cheap with portion sizes big enough for leftovers. I left my card there one day on accident and they still had it and kept it safe for 3 days. This place is heavily recommended if you want to eat somewhere comfortable.“

“We were traveling thru Laurel and stopped to eat at a restaurant.The waitress recommended we try this bakery. The place was very clean and had a very large variety of desserts. I got the cheesecake brownie. They were absolutely delicious!! I wish I had gotten a few more. I would definitely recommend trying them to satisfy that sweet tooth. I saw they also do some savory items and a few lunch things..“

“Kroger has great deals in Laurel, Ms. Kroger also has a lot of items that aren't sold everywhere which is a breath of fresh air in the Walmart/Amazon age. I gave four stars for instead of five simply due to time lost in a line to check out. A local, hometown store (equally as popular) is much faster but... As I said, Kroger has great deals and a GOOD brand name for competitive alternatives.“
