My mom and I are visiting from Florida for the Hattiesburg 1/2 marathon and this place was recommended to us by the AT&T store manager in Midtown Hattiesburg. We are so glad we did! Sam our server did such an exceptional job making sure our dietary needs were covered. Mom and I are gluten sensitive and so can have a difficult time eating southern food, especially battered food, so when we found out that they use corn flour for their jumbo shrimp, we asked about the fried green tomatoes. Score!! They made it with cornmeal and no wheat flour with the best sauce! So glad we came. The ambiance, the food, and the service. Top notch!

My wife found this restaurant online and when we arrived in town we were advised by a local that we shouldn’t waste an evening here. WRONG! We will surely go back!! Food came out promptly and was very well prepared, and the service by Addison was outstanding!! Catfish & Royal Reds Platter, Fried Green Tomatoes, potato salad, Grits. The Royal Reds were steamed, buttered and seasoned perfectly and were honestly better than Gulf Shores/Orange Beach places at half the price. Don’t miss this place. Not Flashy but extremely enjoyable!

Excellent service and food ! Cold beer. Seafood platter, shrimp poboy, chicken strips, blackened shrimp. Everything was local except the chicken.

The service was good, but the server seemed forgetful on what table had what. The whole place looked like a cement slab on the inside as good as the exterior looked. As for the food, everything was very spicy. Not hot, but the batter was thick and had a lot of pepper that it could be felt long after eating. It's better to go elsewhere.

I love that local businesses are using the old buildings that have so much character. We had just came from the movies across the parking lot around 6pm on a Saturday. It was super busy with a line waiting. We were seating at a table a lot earlier than excepted. Our server was patient in explaining the menu and did not make us feel rushed. The pepper jack cheese logs are always on our order. I believe there are five to an order with two dipping sauces. We both had the Blackened Redfish Tacos. I went light on the blackened seasoning. They can out perfect! The service and food was great! They have a lot of seafood dishes so I know you will find something everyone will love. Enjoy

We had dinner here and the food was excellent. Salmon and grilled shrimp. We also had the shrimp and crab dip appetizer. Great food and our server was very congenial and prompt. We recommend this place.

I hate writing bad reviews but here we go. The food was good so i may have gone in on an off night. The place kinda feels like you're eating in an old submarine (not in a good way) and the seating choices are not well thought out. The service was not good, the restaurant didn't even have cups because of dirty tables and they were out of one of the few beers they offer. If i return to this place i may just have to order take out, the dining experience was lacking, to say the least.
We had a large group. Food was excellent. Our server did a great job but with a large group, assigning two servers would be best to take care of the group faster.

This place is TERRIBLE!!!!! EXTREMELY POOR WAIT STAFF AS WELL AS EXTREMELY POOR HOSTESS!!!!The food was “ok” BUT THIS PLACE GETS A -5 stars from us especially on Valentines evening when these establishments should be on their “A game” !!!! DO NOT GO HERE !!! Better money spent at a different restaurant or even McDonald’s

Stopped at The Blue Crab Grill last night at 6:00 p.m. for dinner with 2 out of town guests. Was told they close at 8:00 p.m. and they couldn’t seat parties of more than 4 people. Our party was 5 adults and 2 children. Never been told this before at ANY restaurant! Guess we’ll be finding a different place in Laurel for dinner.
