This is the first time I've been to Finn's. Overall it was okay. There were some things I liked and some that was bleh. The server at the front was very nice I will say. And the place was very clean and laid back. For food, I got the boiled shrimp plate and when I heard it came with three sides, I was excited. The sides were not the portion I was expecting, I guess that's why they give you three. The corn was SPICY but very yummy and the shrimp had a good flavor but I don't think that's quite a half pound. The fries were pretty good but my side salad was was nothing but lettuce and tomatoes. My my mom said the shrimp poboy was Allright. Shes pretty picky though coming from New Orleans. The two potatoes to me were a joke, I mean come on I think sparing two more potatoes isn't gonna cost you a fortune. My husband got the fried catfish fillet plate and he said it was okay, that the seafood market next doors fish is way better. To me the price you pay here, should guarantee you more food.

What a gem--whole fried fresh catfish cooked to perfection! The fried mushroom appetizer was yum--with so many mushrooms! They have a varied selection of seafood and the wait staff was first rate! Though not a huge dining space, it was clean, family-friendly and very enjoyable. Again, it was a place where locals dined and came for take-out!

When you're this close to the coast, seafood should mean, well, seafood. When I stopped in recently, Fins delivered. I had a crab bisque with big chunks of crab and an outstanding shrimp po'boy. (Get the onion rings!) My mother declared the fried oysters amongst the best she's had in her 80+ years. Highly recommended.
