We stopped for lunch on our road trip. We Googled places near Laurel and Hog Heaven had the best reviews from hundreds of people. It's a little further off the hwy but absolutely worth it. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The service was so friendly and efficient, and the food was awesome. Our party tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken tenders and cheeseburger as well as a variety of different sides. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Once hearing that it was a friend's birthday, our server quickly offered a free choice of dessert, but we were all too full from our great meal to accept. Great place and great value. I really can't express how much we enjoyed our experience.

Great food. Large portions, you definitely get your money's worth. I had the pick 3 with ribs, sausage and drummettes. My wife had the brisket. Our sides were baked beans(EXCELLENT), potato salad, mac and cheese, and turnip greens with cornbread. So, you see we had a wide sample of their offerings. Didn't care too much for the mac and cheese(bland), nor their barbecue sauce (too much vinegar, for me), but overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and we will be back soon. The tea was also really good, but be careful of the plastic lids on the cups. In spite of the waitress's warnings, two people spilled their drinks, while we were there.
The drive-thru line and the dine-in lines we're both very full, great food, great atmosphere, as far as price point, they know what their food is worth.. This was date night for me and the wife. One of my few go to's for treating her just for putting up with me and five kids! There is so much packed into this place, phenomenal to say the least.. We went all out, but they do have more budget friendly options than what we did..

I went this past Friday with some friends. I usually go for their BBQ or bacon cheese burger which are always so good! But it being steak night I decided why not give it a try and I am so glad I did. Hands down the best steak I have had in years! We had a new waitress and it was her first night but she was great!

The aroma hits you as you step in, you know your going to enjoy this. Fair line of folks waiting to order. That's okay because it gives you time to decide what you want. Had 1/2 chicken with Mac and cheese and potato logs. Food is delivered to your table along with drinks. Chicken is wrapped in saran wrap, a bit messy to unwrap but it's finger licking good. Mac and cheese is definitely a 10. Best I've ever had, could have eaten a plate load of it. Barely touched the potatoes, to full. Took them home and made american fries out of them. Highly recomend Hog Heaven.

The portions were large, the bbq was perfect. They have servers to bring your food and get drinks if you dine in. There's a small card fee as is normal now. Easy parking and lots of seating. Very nice and attentive staff.
But yeah the brisket was amazing, the best I've had in a while and the wings were smoked great. The JoJo style wedge potatoes were nicely seasoned and fried. The ribs are meaty. And the mac and cheese was good. The peach cobbler was good it was more like the dumpling kind than crunchy kind. The sausage was long, and the tough skinned slighty spicy kielbasa/Texas style, I'm a sucker for BBQ sausage.
They only have one barbeque sauce and was like just average tasting, but like the meat didn't need it.
Definitely left stuffed. Would stop here again!

We were driving through on an 8 hour roadtrip and stopped here based on google review ratings. We were NOT disappointed. They were fairly busy and there was a sign stating they are not fast food and expect a small wait. Well , they are very efficient. Small wait was accurate. It was far faster compared to most places at the peak lunch hour. My husband got the 1/2 chicken and I got a pulled pork sandwich. Both were delicious! Seasoning was perfect and we loved their bbq sauce. Mac and cheese was yum! Ladies taking your order were friendly and efficient and happy to answer questions and make recommendations. Our server had a great smile. They didn’t wear name tags so I don’t know her name. She’s a light skinned young African American lady. You can’t miss knowing who she is: she has a warm, friendly smile and makes sure you are taken care of. Only potential negative thing is you pay at time of order so if you are paying with a card you don’t know what the service will be like. I gave a good tip but she deserved more. Fortunately we had cash on hand. We could easily see why this was an award winning place. Great job!!
