I tried this coffee at a friend’s house in Nashville and had to have it!!! I’m very particular about my coffee so I ordered some as soon as I got home. I have the Dark Thirty and Brazil Roast and both are INCREDIBLE!! I would’ve given 5 stars, but the shipping took over 3 weeks (2 separate orders), which is pretty crazy. I’m definitely hooked, and love supporting small businesses, but really hope they can do something about their shipping time. :) :)

In the heart of downtown Laurel, Ms. This code house carries such a beautiful vibe inside. It's just quiet enough to carry a conversation but loud enough to keep it from being a library. The coffee they serve is very fair on pricing and absolutely delicious.

This is one of the main coffee shops in the area right across the street from Lee's Coffee & Tea which is a much larger place that offers a wider menu with food. While Lee's Coffee and Tea offers bottomless coffee and nice spaces to work they don't have whole cream which to me is a HUGE NEGATIVE! as I demand whole cream for my coffee! Manuscript Coffee has a much smaller space but you can certainly find space to do some work or anything else you might need to do at a table. Manuscript Coffee is far more intimate and gives off more of an urban small coffee shop vibe where you might actually meet people and have conversations. Lee's Coffee & Tea is just so large with an upstairs and downstairs people tend to spread out and you are far less likely to strike up a conversation with anybody. Overall this seems to be the best balance of size and menu to make it the best coffee shop in downtown Laurel, MS.

Had an iced mocha latte! It was very good and the place itself is very interesting! I read all about the owner in an article that as left in our Airbnb. The history and how he landed in Laurel is very interesting! Stop in and enjoy!
A total gem! This is the cutest coffee place and they have great coffee. Wes (the owner) was so kind and was such a pleasure to chat with. I had a cappuccino and a cookies and cream cookie and it made my day. Also got a free sticker which is a plus. Highly recommend this place

Manuscript Coffee is a nice place! My daughter and I went there while walking around in Laurel and deciding to get a cup of coffee. Wes, the owner and operator, was very friendly and attentive. He politely spoke to us while making us our order and made us feel like we were old friends. The coffee is very good and the atmosphere is quaint and cozy. Definitely a place to frequent and try more options from the menu!

Wes is a super cool guy and makes awesome coffee. I’ve made a trip to Mississippi from Va the last two years and one of the highlights of the trip each year has been a cold brew at manuscript coffee. Try it out!
