Coming back to my hometown to visit and all I wanted was some good fried cat fish. Mr. Fish was TOP TIER! Food was great, the vibes were better, service was excellent. Will be returning.
Nice jazz music, good fried fish.
Styrofoam plates that melted due to the hot fish, not a good look.
Bathroom had no TP and had a sign that said “You never know what you have until it’s gone.
Toilet Paper, for instance.”

Visiting Laurel for a couple of days as we passed through on our way home to Alabama after visiting family in Texas for Thanksgiving. It happened to be my husband's birthday! Mr. Fish was near our Air BnB, so we decided to try it, and it did not disappoint. The service was prompt, polite, and helpful. Our food came quickly, and it was fresh tasting and hot. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with a "fishing cabin" kind of vibe, and impressed us with its cleanliness....
