Visiting Laurel for a couple of days as we passed through on our way home to Alabama after visiting family in Texas for Thanksgiving. It happened to be my husband's birthday! Mr. Fish was near our Air BnB, so we decided to try it, and it did not disappoint. The service was prompt, polite, and helpful. Our food came quickly, and it was fresh tasting and hot. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with a "fishing cabin" kind of vibe, and impressed us with its cleanliness....
Mistaken order results in new favorite.
I went back to get my correct order the following week after a mistake by the restaurant. Came away so pleased with the reception, kindness, quality of food and everything.
This place is a local gem.

Styrofoam plates that melted due to the hot fish, not a good look.
Bathroom had no TP and had a sign that said “You never know what you have until it’s gone.
Toilet Paper, for instance.”
