This place is an entire vibe! The staff is amazing, the musician last night set the mood perfectly and the steak was DELICIOUS! 10/10 recommend when visiting Laurel.

Went for the valentines dinner. Want to preface by saying our server was phenomenal! Over the top! The food was good… The special today included complimentary mimosas/champagne. After dinner was over my fiancé and I headed to the bar. I went ahead and ordered 2 mimosas at once. The restaurant was PACKED, the bartender was busy. I saw what I think is the owner of this establishment(blonde), turning to me and pointing. After a few minutes she stepped in front of us and pointed at my glasses and stated, “This is not the look I’m trying to put out there, I don’t need anyone stumbling out the doors.” “These are supposed to be complimentary for 1 for each person.” I simply smiled and said that I AM paying. She continued to asked how many drinks I’ve had because I had glasses “stacking up.”EXCUSE ME? My fiancé and I were sitting at the bar like the rest of the PAYING customers simply people watching. This was absurd and because of her rudeness and humiliation, we would never go back and DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The only thing this place has going for it is atmosphere ! Service was horrible ! Waited an hour on our food, grilled chicken came out raw-sent it back and waited another 30 minutes for 2nd meal, they got in zero hurry . Will not come back or recommend !

The steak was great, but the service was not great! Ordered a baked potato and they sent out potato casserole, no it’s not the same and expect the customer to eat it and not complain. I’m sorry I’m paying the bill and I should get what I ordered or be offered something different and the manager got irritated with customers because they complained about the same thing. I’ve been here many times before but never again!!

Since most of the town roles up the sidewalks at 5pm. This place is one of two or three that are open at night. Great location in a funky building. The food here is top-notch. Boss Lady and I eat at a couple of the local eateries, and this one was one of the better ones. She ordered the steak salad, (delicious) and I had the starter shrimp pizza. Both were tasty, although the pizza crust could have been crunchier. The bar drinks are good, and not too expensive. The live musician was good but couldn't hear him that well. Eat here if y'all want good food!

Excellent steak and steak sandwiches and very reasonably priced. Good beer/drinks with a nice atmosphere. They had live music which was cool too. The only downside was the noise. I sat with my parents and wife, and it was hard to hear our waitress due to the ambient nose, and we had to talk very loudly just to talk across the table. It’s a small thing for us, but for those who are hard of hearing, I could imagine it would be frustrating to try to hear their waitress/dinner partners

Absolutely fabulous experience. Food was absolutely delicious and priced reasonably. Had the 14oz Ribeye and Fried large Gulf shrimp. Both cooked to perfection and seasoned just right! Also had crab cakes and fried green tomatoes with a delicious reumalade sauce! Also has a absolutely delicious peach sangria ? drink with ? peach schnapps rum and fruit (yummy!). Atmosphere was also excellent ? Place has the feel of an upscale restaurant with reasonable prices. If you want delicious steak and seafood this is the place! Reservation only and they go fast! Wait staff and hostess are very nice folks who try hard to please as well!!
The Loft is our go to place. Whenever we want a really great meal and/or drinks with friends which is at least weekly if not more…..The Loft is where we go!!

My wife and I had dinner here on a Tuesday evening in mid September. I had a ribeye and my wife had shrimp, and both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Both our meals came with a baked potato and a side salad, and all was well prepared and very good. All I can say is that this place is outstanding in every facet; food, service, friendliness, cleanliness, the entire gamut. I whole heartedly recommend The Loft.

Let's talk about The Pork Chop. I am a mid-50's male from TX, so I have had alot, and all kinds, of meat. The Pork Chop at Loft in Laurel, cooked Med-Well, may be the tastiest meat I have ever had. The creole sauce wasn't necessary, although tasty in its own right. Sweet, succulent - fantastic!
