The Loft in downtown Laurel is outstanding. We stopped in while on vacation and had a fantastic experience. The service was excellent and the food was even better. I had the ribeye and my wife had the filet, and both were cooked perfectly. Easily some of the best steaks we have had in a long time.
The atmosphere was nice, although it was a bit noisy and made it a little hard to have a conversation. There were a couple of large parties dining at the same time, so it was understandable.
Overall, we really enjoyed our evening and look forward to returning one day. Highly recommended.

My wife and I had a wonderful meal. I had the 14 oz steak, potato, and salad while my wife had the Grilled Red Snapper and Shrimp. Both meals were delicious. We ordered the bread pudding and it was very good as well.

This place is amazing. Stopped in for a meal before leaving town and couldn't be more excited to write a review. The atmosphere was spectacular right down to the blues being played. The food was beyond words and cooked to perfection. Let me not even start on the service. Our server LAQUANDA was nothing short of perfection. She was quick with anything we needed and a constant smile. We ended with the bread pudding that she recommended and walked out of here with a slight lean to me. I 100% recommend this place to anyone passing through.

Indoor and outdoor seating. We chose outdoor and I'm glad we did. It was conditioned and covered. Nice to be outside once in a while.
The ribeye steak was excellent! It was seasoned appropriately and cooked to perfection.
The service was prompt and very attentive. This restaurant was a perfect finish to the day!

Date night, brought my best friend here tonight. Been telling him for years I needed to feed him a steak from here. His first time was tonight. He has bragged to everyone back in his hometown about the good and service. Our wonderful server even brought him the bread pudding. Y'all knocked it out of the park. We will be back.😋❤️🤤

Went for the valentines dinner. Want to preface by saying our server was phenomenal! Over the top! The food was good… The special today included complimentary mimosas/champagne. After dinner was over my fiancé and I headed to the bar. I went ahead and ordered 2 mimosas at once. The restaurant was PACKED, the bartender was busy. I saw what I think is the owner of this establishment(blonde), turning to me and pointing. After a few minutes she stepped in front of us and pointed at my glasses and stated, “This is not the look I’m trying to put out there, I don’t need anyone stumbling out the doors.” “These are supposed to be complimentary for 1 for each person.” I simply smiled and said that I AM paying. She continued to asked how many drinks I’ve had because I had glasses “stacking up.”EXCUSE ME? My fiancé and I were sitting at the bar like the rest of the PAYING customers simply people watching. This was absurd and because of her rudeness and humiliation, we would never go back and DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Very well run, with personalized service. You will not be disappointed. Not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for.

The only thing this place has going for it is atmosphere ! Service was horrible ! Waited an hour on our food, grilled chicken came out raw-sent it back and waited another 30 minutes for 2nd meal, they got in zero hurry . Will not come back or recommend !

The steak was great, but the service was not great! Ordered a baked potato and they sent out potato casserole, no it’s not the same and expect the customer to eat it and not complain. I’m sorry I’m paying the bill and I should get what I ordered or be offered something different and the manager got irritated with customers because they complained about the same thing. I’ve been here many times before but never again!!

Since most of the town roles up the sidewalks at 5pm. This place is one of two or three that are open at night. Great location in a funky building. The food here is top-notch. Boss Lady and I eat at a couple of the local eateries, and this one was one of the better ones. She ordered the steak salad, (delicious) and I had the starter shrimp pizza. Both were tasty, although the pizza crust could have been crunchier. The bar drinks are good, and not too expensive. The live musician was good but couldn't hear him that well. Eat here if y'all want good food!

Excellent steak and steak sandwiches and very reasonably priced. Good beer/drinks with a nice atmosphere. They had live music which was cool too. The only downside was the noise. I sat with my parents and wife, and it was hard to hear our waitress due to the ambient nose, and we had to talk very loudly just to talk across the table. It’s a small thing for us, but for those who are hard of hearing, I could imagine it would be frustrating to try to hear their waitress/dinner partners
