If you are visiting Laurel, you need to try Pearl’s! The fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had! The vegetables are great as well. The service is impeccable! We met Pearl and she is so sweet!

Definitely worth visiting for some good down home cooking . The pork chop was very good , the black eyed peas aka field peas were tasty , maybe a tad over cooked though . Stop in if your touring the Laurel area !

Food is ok. Not the best. Often it is overly salty. Good fried chicken and mac and cheese. They have Coke products but they are always watered down and flat. Tea was out while we were there too. They do have a large place to dine and outdoor seating. It wasn’t busy that day but we waiting. Long time to get food. Cornbread was excellent and so was the baked chicken

I loved this place. What gem. The food was sooo good. Atmosphere over the top. MS Pearl autographed a copy of her recipe book and visited us a few minutes. A must go.

Pearl was featured on an episode of Home Town on HGTV, so of course when you go to Laurel MS you have to go to Pearl's. You have to stand in line to order which was about 30 minutes. Food is brought to the table by her son who is a very nice man. Thw menu is limited. We had fried chicken. Very juicy but my white meat ran a touch pink. The cornbread had a strange texture. They are very busy feom start to finish. They need to update some things like their flooring, the 1060s restrooms and other things. The prices are very reasonable.
