We had the best meal at Pearl’s Diner! Got there right around opening and no wait. Staff were extremely kind and enthusiastic. Between my husband and I we got fried chicken, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, fried okra, black eyed peas, both cornbreads, and banana pudding. All were delicious, fresh, made to order. My only regret is not being there on meatloaf day because I love a good meatloaf. We will be back when we are next in Laurel!

We have enjoyed eating here every time we have been. Always hot and fresh food ! My only complaint is that some people refuse to listen to instructions and will not sit until they start taking orders. The last two times my son and I have been we have had people cut in front of us because we sat like we were supposed to and they lined up at the counter ahead of us to order after coming in after us. But the food has been great each time!!

This was an ok place to eat our lunch. We ordered our food at the counter, found a sest and waited for our food. It wasn't very long, maybe 15 - 20 minutes.
The food was good. I had fried chicken, beans, and boiled cabbage.
The decore was a corner store type building from the 1930's. It doesn't look like it has been remodeled since then. It was clean but didn't feel clean because of the dark wood.
The men's room also very dated and it seemed clean.
Our family had a good time here. However, I'm not sure that I'd be really fast to go back. I'd have to try some of the other places in Laurel Mississippi.

Food was good southern style cooking.but menu is limited if you have picky eaters. Cooked fresh so there is a wait. Ambiance was fun, relaxed and super nice people and staff.

Great atmosphere, food and service! We had the pork chop and the fried chicken each with two sides, roll or cornbread and a drink. Get the butter beans if offered- delish! They offer a few beers if you want.

THEY ARE DOG FRIENDLY IF your dog is well behaved!

If southern cooking is what you are after, you won't be disappointed.

I can honestly say I have never eaten in a friendlier place! The staff behind the counter were so sweet to my children and the man bussing tables and greeting people made sure to stop by our table several times to check on us. The fried chicken was some of the best I've ever tried and the collars reminded me of my nanny's cooking. I will definitely stop by next time I'm in town.

The food was wonderful. The service was great. We really enjoyed our meal here. I ordered the porkchop, Mac and cheese fries and corn bread. My husband ordered the fried chicken, fried okra, fries and corn bread. We had split the banana pudding for dessert. Everything was delicious. I know we'll definitely eat here again if we're in Laurel.

Found this place on our travels. Apparently its an icon in Laurel so we thought we try it. Super busy. Waited a long time in line. Staff were nice and to the point. They didnt dilly dally around when it came time to take your order. It’s helpful if you know what you want before getting to the counter to order.
The food was ok. Was it the best I’ve ever had? No. Was it good enough to rave on and on about? No But it was ok. Might need to try it again sometime.
