This place was recommended to us by the visitors center in Laurel for good hand patted hamburgers. The burgers were ok but not sure they were hand patted. The fresh onion rings and fried okra were delicious. Nothing fancy about the place out in the country but decent food.

First Timer at Walker's. Loved the local atmosphere. Friendly staff and towns people. Food was awesome. Took me back to my childhood. Americans need to support more of these mom and pop family food stops. We will definitely stop again on our way through town. Hats of to the Walker family and community. Thanks for making us feel like a neighbor.

Great food, service was slow but overall great place to eat,
Been going here since I was a kid. People always friendly and nice. They are happy to help you get a very hot and fresh home-cooked meal..easy in and out . Clean floors and clean restrooms place has been kept up over the many many years they have been open..still in my top favorites since 1977
Good food, but the service is very slow. They don’t seem to care how long it takes for you to get your meal and they aren’t overly friendly.
