My Husband and I were traveling from Vicksburg back home to Illinois and accidentally found ourselves there I give them a solid 10!!!
Called to order Sunday Lunch to go at 1:00 pm. They took our order, kept putting us on hold, while doing so. They took our name and phone number, said they would “call us when our order was ready’. They never called. We tried calling checking on our order. The phone went to voicemail 3xs. REALLY!
Nice meeting you!

First time here, but hopefully not the last. The food was very good and the service and hospitality was incredible!!!! We definitely recommend trying Bush’s Kountry Cafe and meeting the Bushes.
Better bring your appetite, the servings are hugh and the service was amazing. A little small, but felt like we were eating with family. Worth the time to get off the Delta highway and have a home cooked meal.
We stopped here on our way back from New Orleans. We had a delicious lunch of meatloaf, fried green beans, mashed potatoes and cornbread.Loved seeing all the pictures on the walls and the unique ceiling fans.Hope to eat here again on a future trip.
First time and I really enjoyed it....

I had family visiting from Maryland & they wanted to go to the Bush's Kountry Cafe. This was my first time going to this cafe. The atmosphere was great I just love the jazz music, it brought back memories from California. Everyone was courteous, & friendly the food wasn't bad. My family had the Shrimp Po-Boy, The Catfish Po-Boy, Smothered Hamburger Steak with Mac & Cheese, Fried Chicken with green beans & cabbage. Everyone enjoyed themselves, the prices were reasonable. There's only 1 suggestion (bring everyone at that tablet or in that party their food at the same time, & not 1 by 1). We will go back.
Kid-friendliness: We had a 6-year-old with us but fell asleep before the food came out. This was because he stayed up the night before playing his game. The Waitress automatically got him a carry out tray.
Stopped here briefly to use the washroom and get something to go. This was the best cornbread I have tasted in the South. Its made in a skillet and was warm and crispy on the outisde. Wish had more time to have a full meal. Staff were very friendly.

I was visiting "Rev Sammie" and after his daughter's homegoing, we went there... Awesome! Was my Grannie in the kitchen?? We waited without a reservation. It was very much worth the wait! On my way back down from KC. Can't wait to hit it another Friday nite! God Bless!!
This was my first time there. The service was poor. I didn't receive my all of my food, and when I asked about it, I was told it would be a long time before it would be finished cooking ( the corn bread). The waitress kelp walking past me, and never checked on me. I had to ask several times for a refill.
Stop by here after my mother's funeral. Great LIVE music and time as we celebrated her homecoming and it happened to be the owners mother's celebration too.
This restaurant is one of the best I have been to. A live band on Friday and Saturday night. Food is amazing with a large portions. The owners are so personable. They are always talking and visiting with customers. I would highly recommend this place. If you are looking for a nice place to kick back on a Friday or Saturday night, this is the place.
Good food, fast and friendly service from great staff, and live band. Love it?
