Long Beach Church of Christ has a dining experience once a month at an appointed restaurant. Our dining experience at Coterie was above excellent. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and very efficient. Our food was served in a timely manner and without delay. Our servers Bri and Yzzy were very accommodating and aimed to please with a smile. From the the beginning I was received by the manager Mark with the setup and of our dining experience with friendliness and eagerness...read full review
We (3 people) went to Coterie tonight for dinner. My friend started with the Crab Au Gratin, and the 2+2+2 Oysters (both good) she ordered the Shrimp and Grits as an entree, I ordered the “Extra Napkins” Po-boy, and my wife ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich. Coterie Restaurant & Oyster Bar provides an authentic New Orleans dining experience with flavorful dishes and generous portions. The restaurant serves a variety of oysters, including a recommended plate, and the Chargrilled Oysters are highly praised, with one reviewer calling them the best they've had anywhere. The crab cake is considered one of the best on the coast and is very delicious, though some note it was small for the price. The crab au gratin and fried alligator are also favorites, praised for their tenderness, seasoning, and flavor. The Garlic Butter Shrimp Roll and blackened gator received high marks for being tender and well-flavored. The restaurant features attentive service, friendly staff, and wheelchair accessibility, making it a welcoming spot for families and dates. The view of the gulf, especially during sunset from the deck, enhances the atmosphere, and the bread pudding remains a must-try dessert. Some dishes, like the shrimp and grits and crabmeat au gratin, were enjoyed despite minor issues like temperature and salt. Overall, visitors appreciate the great options on the menu and plan to return for more, with many excited to experience the friendly service and enjoyable environment again.
