Insanely good burger. I had the Poblano Burger with fries and a sweet tea. Definitely in my top five burger places in South Mississippi.

Ordered the cuban...blgt...and kids grill cheese, so good, so much better than drive thru processed foods. Hand cut fried, great macaroni salad, and shepherds salad. Glad they're back open

What a great little roadside place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Food was fabulous we got a bacon burger and chicken tenders. Both were fresh and very good and the chicken tenders were lightly breaded and some of the best I have had. Fresh cut fries were also amazing. The portions were fantastic at a great price. The service was amazing. We had a young female serving us who was very pleasant and professional. She stopped to comment on our dog and even brought her a piece of bacon from the kitchen just a delightful young lady, I hate that I did not get her name.

We are at Chuck's Southside this afternoon. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The Ruben Sandwich Special was fantastic! Perfectly toasted not soggy rye pumpernickel bread with handcut fries. Yes, I ordered a side of coleslaw, yummy doesn't even come close to how good it was. Can't wait to come back!
Great place. Always gets hot fresh cooked food. I love to wait on hot freshly cooked food great job Chucks family I just have to say I like there cleanliness too. The person that is take order and touch money is not the person touching food and cooking so I taking my hat off to the owner for the cleanliness and hand washing I saw the cook do that visit . All around great place to chow down at great scenery too. Ok I'm done lol

Skip the exits before and after Lumberton with their stale chain food options….get some South (Mississippi and Miami) in your mouth instead!
We had the BLFGT and The Florida Man sandwiches with coleslaw and mac n cheese sides. WOW! And we’d been eating for a month prior in New Orleans.
BLFGT: Bacon 4/6? strips of crispy goodness piled on thick cut sweet/sour crusted fried green tomatoes on super buttered toasted bread.
Miami Man: a perfect rendition of a classic Cuban sandwich on Cuban bread roll thick with roast pork, ham, Swiss and garnishes press toasted to perfection.
Coleslaw: crisp sliced cabbage, creamy, slightly sweet dressing, tasted like made that day, lovely front of house server said it’s even better the next day if any is left!
Mac n cheese: light and cheesy, perfect
We were the only highway castaways during our time there…don’t let it stay that way.
Lots of locals eating there or taking out, mostly burger orders. If they make burgers like they make sandwiches, Lumberton is one lucky town.
For vegans there’s a portabella mushroom sandwich that sounds first rate.
A little hard to spot…from highway go just past the Mexican restaurant and look on the right for small building with flags and umbrellas…set back from road. Funeral home across the street. If you cross RR tracks, turn around. They’re working on better signs.
Vegetarian options: A vegan or vegetarian can eat very well here.
Kid-friendliness: Umbrella shaded round picnic tables, plenty of lawn to get the wiggles out
