Despite having lived in MS for a considerable amount of time, neither my parents nor I had ever visited Applebee's until Saturday, August 2nd. I chose to order a chicken quesadilla and mozzarella sticks, both of which were exceedingly tasty. I am eager to return and try the Bourbon Street Steak or Strawberry Chicken Salad, along with an Oreo milkshake on my next visit.

If you have 4 or more people, please do not come. The staff acted like we had a disease because we had a party of 8. Then, we overheard the waiter tell the hostess she was lying because there were more seats available. Not sure what was going on there. Please get it together.

Our waiter name was Christian D he was very friendly, quick, and attentive. He quickly took our order with great knowledge of the menu and a very good memory. He took all 5 of our orders without writing anything down, and he amazed my kids by how good his memory was. It was my son's thirteen birthday, and even though they didn't sing happy birthday anymore due to covid reasons. He brought a team out from the back of the house and proceeded to sing, which made my sons day. The food was amazing as well as the service. I definitely recommend this location and make sure to request Christian D if you want amazing service. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered a steak and it didn't really taste like one.. it was good though I ate it. Their garlic mashed potatoes were amazing.
Place was a little run down and the staff ok but not motivated. Trash was on the entrance floor and walked over by staff

Ordered delivery! I never order steak on delivery apps, but I was craving steak and it's 10pm, I'm not about to head back out. Got the 2 for $28 deal, comes with an app, and an upcharge for steak.
We got the artichoke dip, two 8oz steak, mash, onion rings, and green beans. Whomever is working on the grill at Applebee's in Madison did a great job! It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Those green beans though... it needs life because I've never had green beans that made me feel so sad and defeated haha made me so depressed for no reason 😆 Mash was good though.

For transparency - I'm not a fan of chain restaurants. I dint go to them expecting a life changing experience. But I do expect to have halfway decent food. I was running behind my party, so I asked them to order me a bacon cheeseburger for the sake of speed, etc. Service was great. Our server was attentive and kind. My cheeseburger was bland and greasy.
