Had Sunday Brunch. Eggs Benedict. Excellent taste. Good service. A little expensive but worth it.
This was a great dining experience. It was our first time at this restaurant and we came at brunch on Sat. We actually wanted to try the lamb pops but that is on the dinner menu. We ordered ala cart from the menu and everything was really well done. The sausage patties were of the highest quality and the flavor was great. The eggs were so fluffy they were like little pillows in your mouth. The bacon was crisp like I prefer, and my sister loved the French toast. We sat in the patio area which was beautiful and our server was really nice and helpful. We plan to go back in the evening to sample those lamb pops.
The food was pretty good. The drinks were better. Not much of a menu variety.
Upscale but reasonable.Great bar and the wine list is top of the line.
We decided to patronize this restaurant based on Stacey mcdonald's review below. Her comment had nothing to do with the food, but was meant to bully and intimidate the owner who is a free citizen of our community. I support citizens who exercise their constitutional rights. That being said, we had an amazing dinner and the service was perfect. We sat on the patio under the string lights, and the vibe was exactly what we wanted. We haven't found that anywhere in Madison. I had the butter lettuce salad with chicken and my husband had the bone-in pork chop. We cleaned our plates. The portions were perfect. Big thanks to Stacey mcdonald for highlighting a stellar member of our community who has opened up a much needed restaurant in our community.
Owner/proprietor has been a bully to his child’s school board and participated in spewing misinformation about Covid based on his personal views & feelings. No thanks. ??♀️
I have no idea if the food is any good because I never got the pleasure of eating here. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and made reservations through Resy to eat here on Labor Day. Imagine our surprise and dismay only to find out the restaurant is actually closed for Labor Day! If your restaurant will be closed for a holiday, please do not offer reservations for that day!
Excellent food and specialty drinks!! Awesome staff and service!!
Beautiful atmosphere
Colony Bistro has become my favorite restaurant! Attended the live music recently and it was amazing. The food is tremendous, wine, craft cocktails, great service. Give it a try! Oh and brunch too, Saturday and Sunday!

Very enjoyable evening Live entertainment was great, staff was helpful and attentive and the other customers in the bar seemed to be having fun while interacting with other patrons.
I haven’t enjoyed a meal so much in a long time. Everything at our table was good (I know, because we share). But my greatest shoutout is to Eli for her biscuits. Great service, too.
Today was very busy and they got my meal wrong but the manager was awesome. He apologized and comped our meal. Great service. I will give them another try.
Great plate lunch today. $12 includes drink.
Blue plate was good and reasonably priced. Food was well seasoned but country fried steak was a little tough.
