Lunchtime was very busy at this Firehouse in Madison, MS. The staff working here was very efficient and working hard to feed all of the patrons today! Great teamwork, and my NY Steamer was delicious, as usual.

This was our first time here.
My husband, nephew and I came here on July 6th, 2025. I didn't get anything this visit because I wasn't very hungry. My husband and nephew got the New York Steamer & they said it was delicious! I had to come back to Madison over here this Friday July 11th, 2025 I got the Fire House Steak & Cheese to go sandwich only and it was delicious!! I wish I had gotten a second one for dinner.
Subway who? Firehouse Subs is the place to go!

Outstanding!! Staff was nice and friendly. Lacy who waited on me was very talkative and friendly. I got the Philly cheese steak and it was smaller than I thought ( I did ask for small size though ) so it was more like snack than a meal but I wasn’t very hungry. It came with a yummy pickle spear. I’ve ate at several restaurants that have Philly cheese steaks and this is the best one ( even better than Jersey mike) the meat was sliced thin enough. I hate thick chunky meat so I think that’s why this one tasted better. Drink and sandwich was about $9 so affordable.First time and can’t wait to go back!

The chili was not very good. It seemed to be a week old and quickly warmed up in a microwave.
The sandwiches were equally bad. They were just thrown together and fell apart while eating them.

This establishment consistently ranks among the most unwelcoming dining experiences I have encountered. Upon entering, I am met with an atmosphere of laughter and jesting from the staff. When I choose to dine here, the staff’s behavior becomes increasingly disruptive, cleaning around me and occasionally even the table I am occupying in an attempt to persuade me to leave. I am astounded by the establishment’s high rating and find it difficult to comprehend how it has achieved such a favorable reputation.

Please stop asking customers if they want the pickle when taking their order. Just discontinue them if you’re trying to control cost. Also stop asking customers if they want to round up their total to the nearest whole dollar so you can donate the extra change to the firefighters fund. I’m sick of it. We all know that extra money is going in the corporate coffers. Let corporate donate from company profits. I’m tired of companies that do this and they are losing my respect. I’ll just stay home and make my own. The small hook and ladder should be renamed the mini hook and ladder. It’s smaller than it used to be and the bag of baked lays was nothing but crumbs. No value in anything and rude unprofessional service. Cutting your cost while the customer gets the shaft.
