I ate inside on a Tuesday evening. The drive through was busy, but inside was empty. The woman at the counter was a step below surly, barely speaking to us through the order.
I got the half chicken with collard greens and fried okra and my wife got the Southern Soul Bowl w/ Chicken and Alabama White Sauce.
After paying and sitting, we were told that they were out of collard greens and they didn't offer a replacement for her bowl. I got corn on the cob as a replacement after being told they were out of black eyed peas as well.
My chicken was very tender, a touch too tender for my tastes. The okra was fried well, just needed some salt.
My wife's bowl was sauced with the incorrect sauce, though the grits were good. Overall, she was satisfied with the bowl, though it would've been better with the collard greens.
Portions were generous for the price, we left with enough for 1 lunch the next day.

First time trying. Chicken was dry (crumbly dry) and the fried okra had a very rancid grease taste. That is always worrisome. Order was to go, (had 1 wrong side, but something I eat). I may try again as dine in but not any time soon.

One of my favorite places! Has an outdoor seating area and also TVs on the inside. Great atmosphere and food! Don't leave without trying the key lime pie, it's mmm mmmm good.
Had the Black Angus Beef Brisket plate. Very good. Not very many people there.

Trash,trash, trash. First my burger wasn't done at all. It had no flavor. The onion rings I ordered had too much breading on them to eat and the onions were too big. The wings had no flavor. The whole experience was horrible. Do not eat there

Great bbq. Service was good. Nice employees. Came in with my family when we were moving my sister and brother in law to Madison from Florida. Was a nice meal after a long day of unloading a moving truck. Had the football game on too which was nice to not miss.
