10/10 my most favorite place to get Mediterranean food. The Dolmas are perfect and served with lemon wedges, the meatballs are THE ABSOLUTE BEST I have ever had locally, and DO NOT get me started on their deserts!!!!!!

We love Kristos. Last night I took a group of teen girls and my 5 year old daughter. Our server, Aiden, was phenomenal. The food was delicious. My 5 year old colored a picture and our server took her to the front to hang it up. He’s waited on us twice lately and is just wonderful. 5⭐️

Kristos is the in-town Greek-Go-To!
Charming old house setting with a great indoor/outdoor patio with TVs, fireplaces, heaters, fans and even music.
Pita Mozz and Pita Feta are always consistent. Curly fries are plentiful and a bit greasy.
Gyros are good. Lamb, beef or chicken. Seasoned well and with that crispy edges that Gyro-meat is known for.
Fresh salads. Really good feta sauce.
Friendly service but this is not fast food. Surprisingly good beer selection.
Sit outside. Don’t be in a hurry.

I had been waiting to try this place for a while, I was very disappointed. I was sat right away upon entering. A waitress came over right away and asked about an appetizer, I ordered the Greek meatballs, they were not good. I ate one and was waiting for her to come back to the table so I could ask that they be exchanged and place my dinner order. She never came back, I waited for 15 minutes and starting looking around, the owner (I assume) asked me if she could help me. I asked where my waitress was, she said Ill send her out. Waited another 5 minutes, and she finally appeared. I sent back the meatballs, and ordered the mozzarella pita it was good. Placed my order for a gyro and another team member brought it out to me. It was not very good at all. Another 10-15 minutes goes by and no visit from my waitress again. I was waiting for the check, I got up and went to the register and asked the owner, if my waitress was part of the kitchen crew? She said, no she's just really busy with outside tables. Well why the heck would you give her 1 table inside and the rest outside? Clearly, you should have asked the waitress next to me with 2 tables to lend a hand. Very unimpressed and I will not be back. This situation could have been remedied very easily, no effort was put forth to do that. Not an apology, nothing.

This restaurant has to have new managment or kitchen staff or SOMETHING. It used to be amazing and never missed. But the quality has gone down tremendously my last two orders. My entire order was burnt and overcooked. The fries were like potato chips and tasted stale. The burger was burnt black. Unfortunately, this was my last order from Kristos.

What can I say? Well let me start off by saying when our group walked in, the front desk host looked so surprised as if we were lost. My big group of family was very blended with Black , White and Hispanic. Then I was asked if we wanted to sit outside because the wait inside will be an hour and it was nearly empty inside. So I went to checkout the outdoors scene and made sure it was comfortable for us because it was nippy Saturday March 1-2025. On the way to our seats, my nephew was approached by a white woman and asked if his GPS worked which was strange? Anyway we went to our table and had us a good time beyond the stares and racial tension we were feeling. Our waiter was a young white guy and he was awesome and very polite and friendly. We gave him a good tip and he was happy but I will never be back if you ask me. Which I’m sure that’s what this white establishment restaurant wants! ✊🏿

This was my first time eating at this establishment. We came as a family to celebrate a dear friends birthday. I will start off by saying our server was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable and very on top of it! He didn’t skip a beat. But….. the clientele that frequent this establishment was blatantly upset because we were not all white people. I heard a customer count the black peoples at our table out loud to his wife and daughter. Then the proceeded to get physically upset with our presence. So much so they didn’t even order they paid for their drinks and left. The hateful stares from others were very alarming! It really broke my heart for my friends and family to have to endure such hate. Needless to say the vibe was not there and I do not plan on returning. The food was decent but the pita mozzarella was a bit crispy.

I was excited once I saw the menu online. However as soon as I walked in with my Dad, the lady at the front looked surprised we were entering. I didn't want to assume it was bc we were African American. Then she asked if we wanted patio or in house, we said it didn't matter. She then placed us in a all hidden area with no one else there. It was very off putting. The waitress then came for our drinks and looked just as surprised. We just left then bc I did not feel comfortable at all. It looks great but no blacks in site when we came and I could see why. I hope others have better vibe checks than we did

This is a great place, one of the best overall experiences we’ve had in Jackson in the 8 months we’ve been here. We sat on the back patio, which is nice and quaint. There was a gentleman playing guitar and he was very good. Various choices on the menu. The redfish was excellent, seasoned perfectly, and the asparagus was cooked perfectly. Fresh salads with homemade dressings. The only reason I didn’t grade the service higher was we received our salads and 10 minutes later our entrees were served. Highly recommend this great place. We will be back!
