I ordered a porterhouse and got a rib eye which was okay, I like rib eye, it was cooked the way I like it, but for a medium rare steak it was tough. Service was okay, asparagus was just right, best part of the meal. If I lived in Madison I would take the time to drive to Bill's, or get a steak from the Flora Butcher and cook it myself rather than go here. One should enjoy themselves when you go out and I didn't enjoy this. Update: I ordered a ribeye, it hasn't changed, a lot of gristle, tough, even though it was cooked right. Sides are still good, but a steak house should have the steak as the star.

First off we waited 25 minutes because the waitstaff wasn’t there at 4:40 pm. Second my wife ordered a peach sangria- no fruit! I ordered a salad - no salad, we ordered a shrimp appetizer- it was delicious but no individual plates- we ate off of the trough! My sweetpotatoe was hard not creamy, the filets were a little more well done than med rare should be. Then she just set the bill down never asked if the food was good or we needed boxes nor dessert. Terrible experience should’ve went to Burger King !

Service was atrocious, moreso nonexistent. Food was good, but waiting 45 minutes for a drink and over 2 hours for a burger is horrendous. Especially considering our poor waitress had only us (a table of five) and a table of 2. Sad experience unfortunately. Food turned up and nobody got what they asked for, steak was undercooked, burger overcooked, chicken dry, just unbelievably below their standards from what we have enjoyed at our home location.

My husband and I stopped in for a late lunch and we had Steven who has to be the best employee person in the building. His service and communication is off the charts. We didn’t mind waiting for our food which did take a while to come out to say it was slow but he kept us updated. I highly recommend him

We placed our name on the waitlist before arriving which was supposed to hold our place in line. We (party of 4) were told at 3:55 pm our wait would be 40 to 50 minutes. When we arrived at 4:20 we then expected a 15 to 20 minute wait…but we were seated at 5:30…which was an hour and a half wait. There were plenty of empty tables, so I’m assuming they were short staffed. We were seated by the hostess at 5:30 and no server stopped by our table, so after 15 minutes I asked a server who was passing by if she could help us find out who our server was. She said yes but didn’t come back. I got up and asked another server who told us our server was Caitlyn, who had started taking an order for a table who had just sat down. She said she was not the server for our table but said she’d take care of us. Our intended server had passed our table multiple times but never stopped. Caitlyn waited on us and she was an excellent server, just a little slow with the burden of an extra table added to her workload. The food was very good but I will not be back to this location as it took three hours for a meal. Ridiculous!!!

Called in to place a large order and was told we could not place our order. The website says if its over $200 to call in. Once called in, even the manager would not provide the customer service that I know Longhorn is supposed to have. What a waste of time and a waste of money for the company.
Called the Flowood location and they took my order just fine.

Steak initially came out with char on it and I'm not one to order a steak well done so no excuses for that. They were quick to resolve the matter so no harm no foul. The steak was well seasoned! The Salad was amazing, ordered it again the next day at another Steakhouse in a different state haha! The server was amazing. There were ridiculous wait times due to being understaffed so only half of the restaurant was seated at a time. Projections should have anticipated an influx in service due to graduation time and it being the holiday season full of traveling folks- no excuses there.

Very unsatisfactory. Waited for an entire hour for service, i get to the counter they said it was a glitch in the system. Once i got seated, they messed up my steak TWICE. Very unprofessional im verryyyyy upset with this location. The whole team from the waitresses to the COOKS need to be replaced with better people who care about their customers.

This use to be hands down the best location no longer. Flowood has them beat without a doubt. My food was wrong, cold and it took forever to receive it. The customers service from the waitress ridiculous bad. The napkin with the silverware dirty.I was wondering why it wasn't packed like normal I see why. Please get the proper nelp needed to bring this location back up to par.

I usually don't write reviews for food establishments but I felt like I had to make an exception for Longhorn. When my wife and I visited the restaurant last Saturday, the restaurant was packed and we could see the full lobby from the parking lot. We walked in and were greeted by the hostess who was very polite and told us we would have to wait around 30 minutes or so for a table.

Our waitress took our order almost immediately after we sat down, and she was very cordial towards us, despite how busy she appeared. The food also didn't take as long as we might have guessed, which was a very welcome surprise considering how many guests were inside.

Overall a 10/10 experience, the atmosphere is so welcoming and the employees do an excellent job at keeping things moving under pressure. A lot of other businesses in the same general area would do well to take notes from this establishment.

I have always patronized the Madison (and Flowood) Longhorn establishments and both have a similar issue: the carpets. They are absolutely disgustingly smelly and something needs to be done about this. I can't think of a single other restaurant or chain with an issue of smelling like Longhorn Madison/Flowood. Madison is the worst! I love the food, but Jesus the carpets have to go! It's like dirty mop water mixed with mildew. Can someone please put some love into these establishments and take that doggone carpet up?? I hope this is addressed immediately. It would be worth the investment. Thank you!
