First timer, won’t be my last. Great food, Seasoned well. For the volume of business they do, the quality of the food is amazing.

Aways the best choice for good ole home cooked food. If they just didn't cook their chicken liver so hard.

Very busy all the time. Ribs, fried chicken, baked beans and cinnamon buns are great. Best time to go is about 1:00 pm or later, M-F, after the lunch rush, less busy. Foods are fresh and hot. Excellent priced for buffet.

This was the first time I had ever been to Mama Hamil’s; although, I had only heard great things about the lunches. It was fantastic - wide variety of foods and great cooks. Service couldn’t be beat for a buffet restaurant . The only reason atmosphere received 4 stars is because I went during the busiest time of day. The parking lot was FULL and the restaurant had little seating left. Take-out orders were flying out the door. But I will certainly be back every chance I get. They’re only open for lunch 11-2. Since I live out of town, I have not been able to make it for dinner, but can’t wait to find out what’s different in the evenings.

Great variety to choose from at reasonable price. $18 for adult lunch. Be sure to wear a neck fan or bring a handheld fan during the summer as they do not have air conditioning in the vestibule waiting area.

I don’t normally do this but today is apparently the day. After my Aunt’s funeral service today my family of about 50 people were going to eat together at Mama Hamil’s. My cousin has battled mouth cancer last year and won. But she isn’t able to eat solid food. At Mama Hamil’s she was told, very rudely that she would have to pay for a full buffet because she would be occupying space. So very disrespectful to a person with a disability. I was so disappointed with this establishment that displays The Ten Commandments outside their doors. Paying the $20 wasn’t the issue. The issue was how rude they actually were about it. Others offered to pay for the seat. Now the principle of the situation comes in play. This business conveying to be Christian based is extremely hypocritical. Will never eat there ever again!!
Rude! Went in with a large group who had just left a funeral. One member of the group is battling stage four mouth cancer an is unable to eat. Not only did the charge her full price just for her to sit with her family they were very rude about it
