Very busy all the time. Ribs, fried chicken, baked beans and cinnamon buns are great. Best time to go is about 1:00 pm or later, M-F, after the lunch rush, less busy. Foods are fresh and hot. Excellent priced for buffet.
This was the first time I had ever been to Mama Hamil’s; although, I had only heard great things about the lunches. It was fantastic - wide variety of foods and great cooks. Service couldn’t be beat for a buffet restaurant . The only reason atmosphere received 4 stars is because I went during the busiest time of day. The parking lot was FULL and the restaurant had little seating left. Take-out orders were flying out the door. But I will certainly be back every chance I get....
Great variety to choose from at reasonable price. $18 for adult lunch. Be sure to wear a neck fan or bring a handheld fan during the summer as they do not have air conditioning in the vestibule waiting area.
