Ordered a spud with extra chicken. I was charged for it. I reckon they thought I meant give my chicken to someone else. It was the least amount of chicken I had ever had in 7 times ordering the same spud without extra chicken. I’ll go somewhere else

A friend of mine and I went to McAlister's. I had a bowl of potato soup, which was delicious. My companion also enjoyed her meal.
Parking: Plenty of free parking, right next to the restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: We saw several families there, enjoying themselves

UPDATING MY REVIEW: Chris came over after another attempt of asking how much longer. Our ticket had been lost. Chris took charge and wrote down our order and had it to us in 10 minutes. What a redemption! Thank you to the whole team for making it right!
My husband and I visited this location this evening and am currently still sitting here at a table still waiting for my food. I arrived a little before 5:40pm and I know this because I walked in and missed a phone call because I was in line. We ordered two sandwiches, a cup of soup and a side salad. We have asked an eta on our food with a nod of the head that’s she heard us. Here it is at 6:30, 10 minutes away from waiting for an hour with no food and our ice almost fully melted in our drinks. What is even worse is when we arrived, there was 2 people that had ordered and 1 ordering. We came in before a huge rush and half of those people have their food and have already left. I just don’t get it.

Went in at 8:38 PM right after a large crowd (I could tell from the parking lot). I was greeted by one young lady who welcomed me into the store. As I walked to the front counter to place my order, I could visibly see no one was there to take my order but there was a young lady who was en route to the front counter. When she came to the register she did not greet me at all, just gave me an annoyed stare as if I was bothering her. I spoke first and said “Hello, how are you,” to which she did not respond. I then proceeded to tell her what I wanted, she repeated the order back to me and told me the total. When she handed me my food (which was a dessert and sweet tea) she did not say anything to me, just handed me the food. I’ve worked in customer service before and am aware of proper customer service and that was not it. I’ve never encountered anything like that before. I usually visit a McAlister’s that’s closer to where I live but unfortunately, they were closed around that time, so I tried this location instead. This location needs proper training for employees or just new employees altogether. This is not my first run-in with this location.

Food is good but I believe they purposely leave out items. Missing chips, pickle and my sandwich wasn’t cut in half? Do you all still do that? I mean it’s halved on the menu. Decent restaurant but you can tell it has went down in service over the years
Ordered at 1250. Not busy at all. Food showed up at 125. One order was wrong…for some reason they made a mini sandwich vice what was on the ticket and the 4 cheese sandwich was not warm and only had 1 slice of yellow cheese on it.Its 135 and I still haven’t received my full correct order.Update: at 140 a nice lady came over and offered to make it right. So at least theres that.Second lady came over with an attitude and said her GM was making the food.GM came out to clarify order.Crazy…making a couple sandwiches shouldn’t be this hard.

Better than the other locations I have been to, but still basically an overpriced sandwich shop. Used to like it, but at this point it's $20 for 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 potato and a tea. They seem to be smaller and more expensive. Leave the place and not full.

Dine in. Madison, MS 4/20/2024. 3:00 PM. Ordered our food; large group came in shortly behind us. Our food was prepared but not served to us; the food for the group behind us was served WELL before ours was served. Apparently refilling the napkin holders was more urgent that serving our food.
