This store has the worst customer service. Always act like they’re inconvenienced by the people there to pick up. Waited 5 minutes at the counter without so much as hello just for a woman to come out and cop an attitude that I had the audacity to ask for help. Their only saving grace is the quality is usually great.

I truly do not understand how this place is still in business. My kids ask for it every few months and every few months I’m reminded that they are the very worst run business I’ve ever dealt with. Waiting hours to get cold, crappy pizza and then having management that lies when you call isn’t how to treat customers.

They go through DoorDash and claim they are done and delivered when they are not! The mgr. and Pizza Hut tells you that Door Dash stole your Pizza and your money so if you want a refund you have to go through them! what a JOKE!

It’s just such a hit or miss. Rarely you will get a phenomenal pizza, occasionally one will be completely awful. Most are mediocre in some way. Too little of this, too much of that, not hot enough or sort of overcooked, sometimes so greasy the crust is the consistency of a blanket. I just wish I could count on getting pizza that was consistent so I would know what to order and what to avoid.
One of the drivers is extremely nice and we love him, door dash is what you would expect. Typically on time, the nice thing is that when Pizza Hut does not have a driver on hand and uses door dash you don’t have to pay door dashes falsely inflated prices you would had you used their site.
Not much can be said about the atmosphere, there is no dining in, I will say the last time there was a mix up due to them checking off steps to keep a high score and I was wondering where my pizza was when it said delivered, I drove up there extremely mad but they were very apologetic and kindly made me a new pizza and offered a free drink.
I really just wish I could expect consistency instead of uncertainty. We also select extra cheese for every pizza, we are afraid of what a pizza would be like without “extra cheese” I think it wouldn’t have any cheese.
We really need a Papa John’s…

Vegetarian options: There is no vegetarian section of the menu specifically, but it is easy to put together meatless options.

9/21/2024 An Employee was vaping and told me he wasn’t taking any more orders, it’s 9:00 and your hours say your open until 11:00pm, another employee walks up and says she’s not taking any orders told another employee to take my order. WOW!?! What’s going on at Pizza Hut in Gluckstadt??? Good Customer Service has become EXTINCT now days! This is SAD I don’t know who the owner/manager is at this location but here’s a tip. You need to visit your store more often, and be more selective of who you hire at your store. This is unacceptable behavior. I will never visit this location again!

The Gluckstadt store manager sending out false out for delivery notifications. I received a notification over 40 minutes after I received an out for delivery notification. When I called the store my order still in the store. He’s trying to keep his times low.
The company, JJB Pizza, that runs this franchise does not care about customer issues or addressing those issues. My pizza and wings were ordered at 6:30 PM, and they were marked delivered at 7:00 PM. They showed up at my door at 7:30 PM. All of the items were cold and went into the trash. I filed multiple communications through Pizza Hut with the promise that store leadership would follow up with me. Dana Logan with JJB Pizza did follow up via email, but she did not offer any solution. I was told that I would be refunded, but that never happened. It looks like store employees mark items complete to make metrics, and the leadership of this group of franchises does the same. Go to Sal and Mookies, Dominoes, or Johnnys instead of this place. I have had an order arrive two and a half hours late and cold previously. I just let it go. There are huge issues with leadership here.

Associate was extremely rude and wanted bills put in her hand vs on counter and just looked at me when I put the money down with her hand out. Didn’t say thank you are anything.

The workers do not know how to effectively communicate to customers. I asked the manager how long is the wait time just to receive an estimate and she responded by telling me the ticket number she’s working on. Everytime I come in this location she always states that my order was just placed when my orders are placed 15-20 minutes in advance before arriving at the restaurant. There is a short girl with braids by the pizza cutting the pizza and rubbing the managers braids. It’s ghetto and unprofessional. The pizza cutter was also cursing and stated, “She don’t play about her n…..”! It’s just a crazy environment with fools preparing your pizza.

DO NOT PATRONIZE HERE! Yesterday, (May 4th) I called around 5pm to check the status of an order I placed earlier that morning. May 5th is my daughter’s Birthday and the school advised that they would not eat the pizza at lunch time, as I assumed but rather around 2pm. So I called to ask to have the order ready for pick up a couple of hours later for the following day. I explained all of this to the woman (we will call her woman #1) that answered the phone. She asked for my name and number and went on to say that couldn’t find my ticket. So she asked that I hold on. She placed the phone down, but I could hear everything in the background. Woman #1 was talking to another lady (Woman #2) saying that she could not find my order. So woman #1 came back to the phone asked my name… I gave her my name (AGAIN) and even spelled it for her. I could hear Woman #2 frustrated in the background ..cursing saying she couldn’t find the order. Mind you, Woman #1 asked me my name to give to Woman #2 about 10 times.. which was frustrating for me… why not just write the name down the 1st time. After a while, I hear Woman #2 say… “Well I don’t know hell.” Woman #2 calls a man to assist in finding the order. The male is acting like he do not want to be bothered to look for the order. Woman #1 says to me they do not have the order. I tell Woman #2 I have the receipt printed off at home. I tell her I will call my husband to get the receipt off my computer so I can give her the order number. I call my husband…he txt me a picture of the order receipt.
I call back…a minute later. The male answers the phone. He acting like he do not know what is going on. I literally just called. My 1st call was at 4:43pm… (5 minutes long encounter)… I called back at 4:51pm. I try explaining, but he telling me he don’t know what I want. Although, this is the same male they were talking to about the order. I hear woman #2 in the background claim that they fixed the order. However, at this pint I want to talk to Woman #1 to confirm… but I do not want my daughter to have a pizza-less birthday. I asked to speak to woman #1 “Can you put back on the phone the young lady I was talking to.” I believe he used the name Tammy… She come back to the phone and reiterates that they do NOT have the order. I say ma’am, I have the receipt from the online order. I literally read the receipt to her word for word…. Including the store location. I offered the confirmation number. Woman #1 tells me that I need to call customer service about the issue because the order is wrong. I explain to her that the receipt for what I ordered is NOT WRONG. I go on. To explain to her that the pizzas are for my daughter’s birthday the following day and I just want to get the matter resolved. Her response to me was “ I DO NOT CARE!” She yelled as she said this. I confronted her about her tone and unprofessional behaviors amongst her staff… noting that the 1st call the workers were cursing about having to look for the order. She repeated, “I DO NOT CARE!” (yelling) Then she hung up the phone. That call lasted 7 minutes.
I immediately called back. The male answered the call. I asked to speak to a manger. He hands the phone to woman #1, the person who hung up in my face. I confront her about her behavior and ask for her name… she refused to give me her name. She tells me that she doesn’t want to speak to me, and that I need to call customer service and HANGS UP AGAIN!
While I understand that fast food is a challenging and demanding industry, all of these workers that worked that shift should be FIRED! They held no sense of common courtesy or pride in their job. AT THE VERY LEAST they could have offered to place another order over the phone. Also they never looked up the order by confirmation #. After explaining for a 2nd time how important the pizza’s were for my daughter’s 3rd Birthday Party… to have a response of “I DON’T CARE!” is extremely upsetting. I will never patronize at this location ever again.
