⭐ 1-Star Review — Poor Customer Service at Subway in Gluckstadt
I purchased three sandwiches and three small drinks for my children, totaling $35. While I was at the register, the cashier kept pressuring me to add chips to my order after I told her multiple times that we already had some at home. During that time, my six-year-old daughter accidentally filled the wrong drink, threw the cup away, and went back to get another small cup to fix her mistake.
The cashier, whose name was Lisa, yelled across the counter that my child needed to pay for the new cup. I explained that we had already paid for the drink and that it was simply a mistake by a six-year-old. Instead of showing any understanding or compassion, she demanded payment for another drink cup or for us to return the one my daughter had already touched.
My daughter ended up running out of the restaurant crying. Despite just spending $35, the cashier cared more about a $2.00 cup than basic kindness and customer service. When I asked for the manager’s name, she ignored me and started speaking another language to her coworker, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. I had to raise my voice before she finally told me the manager’s name.
This experience was extremely disappointing and embarrassing, especially for my child. I will not be returning to this Subway location and do not recommend it to other families. Good customer service starts with empathy—and that was completely missing

Food is good and staff is nice but the don't take coupons. Not only that, they don't tell you that anywhere until after you have ordered and you get ready to pay.
If you don't honor the coupons, that's fine but you need to inform your customers.

I gave a 2 because they don’t except coupons but have a tip bucket smh other than that they are nice and quick and the food’s good and I still tip that’s just me but if they except coupons then they might get more in tips just

I had a coupon for a foot long. The lady told me we don't accept coupons bc we want full price. Sub way, please stop sending coupons if you won't accept them.

Y'all can definitely put some more effort into your job. Take more pride in the quality of your work. Learn how to do your job. Cutting bread with smashing it is extremely easy. Also, cutting a sandwich in half evenly is easier than putting a peg in the correct hole. I'm just saying, try harder. You are embarrassing.
After calling and stating we felt that our food was spoiled and tasted off, I was told to bring it back in exchange for different sandwiches. When I got there, an employee, appearing to be a manager, stated he wanted to see the food. He looked at it and said they wouldn’t be making us anything else. He continued saying they had made it correctly, and they “couldn’t guarantee the taste”. They could “only guarantee the way it was made”. He didn’t offer any apologies or solutions. I threw the food away. Wasn’t worth food poisoning. Do I expect much from Subway? Definitely not. Do I want the food to be edible? I mean for almost 30$, that would be nice ??♂️

I walked in and asked for takeout for a family of six. The lady made excellent recommendations and we were well satisfied.The pulled pork and chicken was great and the Mac and Cheese will merit a double order next time. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes and it was Friday night. Fed six for $50.

Rude and unpleasant staff. Lady didn’t want to give me dry spinach after asking politely. Just kept trying to convince me it was fresh. It may and been fresh but it was soggy. I did not won’t wet spinach period. I do not recommend this place if they are not willing to give the customers what they ask for.
