We went to Taco Loco to try it because somebody mentioned something to my family about it. It was AMAZING. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Not to mention, our drinks stayed filled, the tortillas and the food was hot and came out surprisingly quick. It was empty when we came in and the entire time we ate only a few people came into pick up orders which makes no sense to me because its absolutely amazing. The food was also super cheap for the amount of food they give you which is absolutely amazing, all 3 of us left with leftovers that heated up today were absolutely amazing!

Friendly place but the birria tacos need more flavor. More so the dipping sauce and the actual taco itself could be more cheesier and crispy. The dipping sauce tasted like nothing even when adding your own flavor LOL. Then the manager tried to offer free salsa then changed the price of my order like i didnt see what he did in split second.
Better off having complimentary chips/salsa altogether then trying to sneak in a couple cents to unsuspecting customers like they wouldnt see it..
Food was good
Billing me 18.00 for a margarita regular size.
Not good at all
Charged 10.00 for one my wife ordered
Then when I showed them the prices on their Menu versus my bill they explained it was a old menu
Funny how one was 10 and the other 18.00
Very disappointed with lack of communication. if the prices weren’t the same on the menu and why was one was 8 more dollars.
Said custom pineapple, margarita, but didn’t mention that on the menu.
Didn’t ask for my money back , just made them aware of my over charged item.
Want be back . Beware of false information.
Wonder what the real prices are?
Very misleading if that’s the way they do business.
Best Guacamole! Service was wonderful!

I work right around the corner from this spot and I stopped in one day last week for an enchilada. The plate was lukewarm. The tortilla was dry and hard and the contents (chicken) were woefully overcooked. Despite the sauce it was dry. The rice was crunchy (I guess it was burned) and overall the meal was super disappointing. My cocktail was watered down and lacked any flavor. Definitely couldn't recommend this place. Save your time & money and just skip going there.

I paid a little over 30 dollars for me and my friend to eat soggy hard shell taco. I look in the bowl of rice and it was half full. And the chips that come with it are stale.

I ordered through DoorDash two day in a row and both left me disappointed. The first day I ordered a burger and left a special message for NO MAYONNAISE. Nothing else that was supposed to be on the burger was put on it beside pickles and lettuce. I had no ketchup, no mustard, no onions, no jalapeño peppers and no tomatoes. The beef was VERY thin. The second day I ordered birria tacos and left a special note to add extra cheese. The tacos are very small, dry, and little to no cheese on them. My tortillas wasn’t dipped because they were still their original color. The were not grilled at all.

I really want this place to succeed, but they have lost a semi regular customer…
In the past 5 days I’ve visited this restaurant twice, here are my experiences:
Friday: I check Google, Facebook, and the door dash app not only to check to see if they were open, but also to find a menu. There is zero indication that they would be closed, but sure enough at 7:15pm on a Friday night - PRIME business hours for a restaurant- they are closed with the doors locked up and all the lights off. I chalked it up to it being the day after a holiday and didn’t think much else of it until my experience tonight.
Monday- I order Birria Tacos, Birria Burrito, and a Taco Salad through door dash for PICKUP. I get in my car, start driving to the store and I notice the order wasn’t fully confirmed. So, I called the restaurant to see if there were any issues. I spoke with a guy and he confirmed that there were no issues with my order TWICE. I even said out loud “ok, I know the birria runs out sometimes so I just wanted to be sure.” Again, the employee confirmed my order was good to go. GREAT. Love to hear it because the birria really is good.
—— here’s where my problems begin— literally as I’m pulling into the parking lot, not even two minutes after I got off the phone with the store, I get emails from door dash notifying me that both the tacos and burrito were Cancelled, not substituted, CANCELLED….
I walk into the restaurant, which is completely empty aside from the guy I talked to on the phone and pretty much as soon as I start asking the guy what happened the TV starts playing music at FULL BLAST. I don’t mean it was loud, I’m talking it was as loud as it possibly could have been. To the point that the employee and I are yelling just to work things out and we still can’t hear each other….. someone finally comes out of the back with the remote and cuts the music off.
So, now that I’m actually able to speak to the guy I asked him what happened? He informed me that the birria was not done cooking yet…. I’m not upset they were out of birria, It’s the fact that literally 2 minutes before I walked in I was repeatedly told that my order was good and then CANCELLED 2/3rds of my order with ZERO attempt to try and call me back to make substitutions. So, because my order was cancelled and not substituted there was zero recourse through DoorDash and I ended up having to double charge my card to order the substitutes….
I really wish this review ended there, but unfortunately it doesn’t…. I get my food, get in my car, and before I even have a chance to pull out of my parking spot, the guy taking orders comes FUL SPRINT out the front door CHASING someone that I assume was one of the cooks in the back. They then proceed to horse around and stuff right outside the front doors of the restaurant. I don’t actually care about their actions here, it’s more so the optics of the whole situation…
. Just to recap… They were closed with zero notice on a Friday night, I was lied to by the staff about the status of my order, I wasn’t given any type of courtesy call to try and get a substitute, the music in the restaurant was literally so loud that the employee and I could not hear each other at a full yell, I had to double charge my card, and no sooner than when I stepped out the door the only staff in the restaurant decide to go play tag in the parking lot.
All of those things separately are not a huge deal, but combined it shows that the staff and management of this establishment could not care less about the customer experience, much less are they interested in providing a good one.
As far as food goes….
The Birria, when you can get it, is AMAZING. The street tacos are good as well. Everything else I’ve had from their menu over the past couple of years (including fajitas, chimichanga, quesadillas, taco salad, and loaded fries) all leave A LOT to be desired in terms of flavor, presentation, and portion size.

So ive gotten birria tacos a few times from this place and the most recent time has been an absolute disaster. I work in Madison and typically have it door dashed, ive ranted and raved about finally finding some decent tacos in Mississippi, especially close to work. Well today I ordered and got my order it looks just like dry steak tacos. I called and asked if they were out of consumé (soup that goes with it) the lady who picked up the phone was supposedly the manager and she didnt even know what that was. She claims the kitchen staff is new, which could be understandable but unfortunately there should still be standards and food should be checked before it leaves the building or kitchen to ensure quality. I had to drive back to the restaurant for consumé, to return to work and eat my now cold food.
Also, I came in and ate june 20th for my birthday lunch and the menus arent up to date I had to pull up door dash and ask for birria tacos that way. The staff was on phones behind the bar when we arrived and floors were partially swept and you could see the broom out with food under it just swept up to the wall and never picked up. The portions are pretty small, the chips were stale and the margarita was definitely giving premade mix over ice

We ordered the 4 for $10 birria tacos. The tacos are a miniature size. I was expecting the size to be similar to some of the reviews I saw for the restaurant previously. They give you a sample size amount of dip. There’s no salsa or lime included. This is more of an appetizer than a meal.

Does not have management. Does not serve margaritas with tequila--they gave me gin instead (they're attached to a liquor store). I was given a condiment cup on the side of my margarita when i asked for a salted rim. Did not even give us menus when we came in. Did not give us water and we had to go get our own Jaritos from the refrigerator. The salsa was hot--like it was heated over a flame! We weren't even given silverware or napkins. They were out of two meats on their menu for tacos. The beans were ice cold. We were the only people in there in the afternoon, too. The rice was the best part of the whole experience. The painted tables and chairs are pleasant to look at. Overall, skip Taco Loco. They are loco for staying in business with this service.

Ordered loaded Fries w/ onion . Unfortunately onion was all in it. So i was asked if “would you like fries with no shrimp” due to them being out. I rejected. Because whats the fries without all 3 meats .. i had paid $17 so i decided to change my order to 4 tacos.. before i reordered a person with me order was also messed up. So before confirming my second order the lady name Keisha walked to the back and corrected the cooks for my friend order. I sat & waited. I first asked was she going to do the difference pay meaning. Return my funds because 4 tacos is not $17 . She stated she would sort it after meal is ready. Received my food. I noticed she forgot to return my few dollars. I asked her again about my change she then states “she cant do refunds. I immediately got pissed because why didnt you say that before me placing my order. Mind yall she didnt even consider i should get a certain amount of tacos to even what i already paid ! Her services was horrible!
