I tried to call in a order to be picked up while I was getting SoulShine pizza next door. Person who answered said they are not taking calls in orders because they were busy.....They only had 8 cars in the parking lot!! Lol. That's disappointing. Won't be ordering here again.

Horrible. Got there about 9:30. Took a few min to decide so we it might have been 9:40 or so at best placingour order. My parents ordered and paid. I was the next person so I ordered directly behind them. My parents got their food around 10:30. My parents waited roughly 45 min for their food. They ate and finished. My food was still nowhere to be found. So at this point it has roughly been an hour since I ordered and watched two other tables, that ordered after me, receive their food. So I took my table number card back inside and left. I was not concerned with a refund simply because I didn't want to hear the excuses or attempt to justify waiting an hour for an omelet. This will be the one and only time I go to Twisted Turnip.

The food is not overly exceptional..fries are overdone and greasy, so were the chicken strips..it's hit or miss, but I haven't tried other stuff, so maybe it's not an informed option. HOWEVER, the staff are phenomenal and really do seem to care about your experience. They seem to have a well stocked bar, and I would like to try their brunch!

I could eat the fried green tomatoes all day long. They were amazing and consistent. No difference between my 1st or 2nd time visiting the establishment.

The smoked wings and vroom vroom shrimp stole the show as well.

The taco trio was pretty good too. Tacos are pretty easy, so not a huge flavor explosion. I'd only give more detailed feedback here if they were bad. Lol

The mac n cheese was underwhelming, but had potential. If they were to drizzle a spicy sweet type sauce and add something with a crunch for a bit more texture, that would kick things up a notch. Maybe I'll ask on the next trip.

The Shut Your Mouth fries were decent. The brisket was cooked well and very tender. I'd recommend for those that like a lot of options in one central location.

Staff is always so pleasant and have great suggestions. Service has been pretty quick and food was prepared fresh to order on both visits. I'd come back for sure.

Everything we’ve had there is delicious! The beef and cheddar sandwich and chicken fried steak are my favorite.

I recently dined at Twisted Turnip, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and trendy, with a rustic, farm-to-table vibe. The menu offers a fantastic selection of dishes that are creative but comforting, with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.

I tried the Stadt Sunrise, which came with scrambled eggs, home-style potatoes, a fluffy biscuit, and perfectly crisp bacon. Every bite was delicious, and the portions were generous. The presentation was thoughtful, and the flavors really hit the mark for a hearty, satisfying breakfast.

Twisted Turnip is definitely worth a visit for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience with a creative twist on classic comfort food. I’ll definitely be back!

I went for brunch and loved it. I loved picking out my own coffee mug. It felt like home. The owner was so kind. Can’t wait to go back.

Kid-friendliness: They had a coloring sheet for my little.

The manager/owner was very welcoming with good recommendations. Ms. Tiffany welcomed me thru the door with awesome customer service. She was very patient while trying to decide what I wanted (being a first-time visitor)

The service was decent, but I had a problem with how the food was served. I ordered tacos and four sides, but the sides were ready long before the tacos, so they arrived cold. On the bright side, the tacos were delicious, prompting me to order a second round. That’s where things went wrong. I waited 25 minutes for the second order, and when I finally saw them in the food window, a fly kept landing on them. The head chef noticed but just waved his hand at the fly. When I pointed it out to the server, he apologized and said they would replace the tacos. I thought, "Of course you will; there’s no choice in the matter."

Pay attention to your food once it hits the food window area!!!!!!

We were one of the first families in the door, but waited an hour for food. It was very mediocre. Definitely not worth the wait. This is the third and last time I’ll eat here. The atmosphere is nice, but that’s about it.
