I stopped by this Wendy’s in Madison to grab my daughter something to eat on the way to softball practice. The drive-thru line was really long, so I decided to go inside since there didn’t seem to be a line.
When I walked in, I waited for a moment. One of the employees (who I later realized was the manager) was helping other guests, so I assumed I would be next. She never acknowledged me—not even a simple “I’ll be right with you.” I noticed she seemed busy and a little flustered, so I tried to be patient.
A mom and her son came in behind me and walked around to speak with the manager. The manager’s tone toward them was noticeably rude and made me uncomfortable just watching. The son, who seemed like a kid, was clearly nervous, but she spoke to him in an intimidating way—asking for his name, making him spell it, and just overall lacking kindness or professionalism.
During all this, I was still standing there with no greeting or acknowledgment. Two different employees came in and clocked in, but neither made eye contact or said anything to me. Both were immediately directed elsewhere by the manager. By that point, it was clear that customer service here was not a priority, so I decided to leave.
I understand that fast food can be fast-paced and stressful, but basic courtesy—like a hello or letting someone know they’ll be helped shortly—goes a long way. What I experienced today was the opposite. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and disappointing. Management here needs to be reminded that treating customers with kindness and respect should always come first.

I placed a mobile order today and the food seemed like yesterday’s left over food. The fries were hard and cold and the nuggets were as well. I called the establishment several times with no answer. When I went back to the restaurant and explained what was wrong, the workers, especially the manager, had a very rude attitude and stated that the food was not old but the grease was old. That is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.

**** MY REVIEW ALONG WITH THE MULTIPLES BEFORE NEED TO BE ADDRESSED! WHY IS THIS LOCATION STILL IN BUSINESS ?? ****
I am absolutely mortified at this location! I come from a big city where I learned about franchise and corporate chained restaurants! It’s sad to say you can tell the difference solely off the service received! Since living here I have had issues at this location! I have called corporate, received refunds, and experienced better service at other locations! The downside is this one is the closest to home and convenient! I went today and I do believe until something’s change it will be my last! I asked for the elderly woman’s name who confirmed she was the manager and her response was “why”? I ordered a mobile along with a drive thru order which I had incomplete/cold fries and missing nuggets! There was a young woman at the window who asked me with a stank face what’s wrong with the fries? I asked would you accept fries like this and she said “they're fine to me”! I am calling corporate once again as they will refund but the concern here is this location should be aware of its employees and the inability to follow WENDYS standards for service! This has to be the wordy Wendy’s location I have ever visited! Good luck to anyone who visits here!
Awful! Didn’t even want to give it one star. Worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. Ordered and paid online and all the employees have to say is “Well our system is down, I don’t know what you need to do but we can’t help you.” Nothing but attitudes from the employees and they can’t seem to get the order right on top of it. I’ll spend my money elsewhere from now on.
My wife just ordered 2 frostys at the window and had to pull up and wait. After waiting 20 minutes she looked at her ticket and saw she had been charged for 3 frostys. She went in to correct the order and get the Frostys. She was verbally attacked by manager Natasha.
Natasha told her the customer was not always right and was loud and a show off and smart mouthed. She refunded her for one frosty. After waiting awhile longer she just left without the Frostys.
This manager needs training or firing. Probably the latter. I wouldn’t allow her to feed an animal. DEI at work for America!

This my 3rd time coming here and it’s the same problem with the SAME person the short brown/light skinned lady with short blonde hair idk if she is a manger or what , bc usually she’ll be wearing a blue shirt & she has the most rude and nasty attitude for no reason and she always make up some lie as to why I can’t use the app !and I use to work at Wendy’s so ik how the app goes but she probably don’t even. know how to use it and got the nerve to be a manager lol but this is my 3rd time coming here and I live around here so I hope soon enough she won’t be working there any more & im reading all these other complaints and they seem to be all about her too describing the looks of the same person as I did.

The food was decent, however, the service was sub-par. I felt that I was treated as a number rather than a customer. I requested 2 special instructions, neither of which were fulfilled though acknowledged.

If you come here, make sure it isn’t the drive through. Doesn’t matter how busy it is or what time of day/night it is… you will be waiting more than 30 minutes. Garbage service. This place puts a priority on its DoorDash orders and not its in person customers. Seriously… eat anywhere else.

Very poor customer service. Went through the drive through and didn’t get what I ordered then I went inside to correct it had to tell them what I wanted multiple times finally got what I ordered then went to use the restroom and one of the workers hanging out in the bathroom and cigarette ashes (at least I think it was from a cigarette) in the urinal. If I could give a 0 star rating I would..
