Let me start by saying ,we visit Meridian, Mississippi from time to time. We tried a couple of restaurants and we’ve basically written Meridian off as an area that just couldn’t cook. Today Amore redeemed Meridian for us with exceptional service, food and a pleasant atmosphere without a doubt, we will be returning to Amore and we are willing to give other restaurants in the area a chance. The food was the best authentic Italian we’ve enjoyed in quite some time. The fresh sourdough rolls were a temptation we didn’t need, simply amazing.Patrick ordered the Italian house salad with balsamic vinegar dressing, and the Tutte Le Carni pizza with pepperoni, prosciutto and fennel sausage.
I chose the Spaghetti Works,
Meatballs, meat sauce, sausage, and mushroom marinara. I also tried the Italian margarita, which has its own distinctive taste. 💖💖

What an incredible dining experience! I ordered the Frutti di Mare, and it was honestly the best Italian meal I have ever had. That’s a bold statement because we’ve traveled to Italy and enjoyed many wonderful Italian restaurants over the years. The seafood was perfectly cooked, the flavors were exceptional, and every bite was absolutely delicious.
My husband ordered a pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The crust, sauce, and toppings were all excellent and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
We were traveling with our dog and were delighted to find such a beautiful patio. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing lunch, and we appreciated being able to dine comfortably outdoors with our pup.
Outstanding food, beautiful atmosphere, and excellent service. Amore exceeded our expectations in every way. We will absolutely return the next time we’re in the area.

Had lasagna on the lunch menu. It was just right portion with an Italian salad with house dressing included and tasty homemade garlic rolls. I can imagine the dinner menu would be more generous food. It's a good ambient in an old historic house. I will return for try an Alfredo dish.

The veal piccata was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor with just the right balance of lemon and capers. You can tell a lot of care went into the dish. The service was just as impressive—friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, a great spot for authentic Italian food, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

I frequent this restaurant at least once a week. I appreciate consistency and that is what you will find at Amores. Whether it be the cleanliness, the food, or the service it is always the same and some of the best in Meridian. Hands down the best Itialian food and pizza in the area. The bar is a plus also.

Over all, I liked the place, the atmosphere, and the food. But...don't go when you're in a hurry or too hungry to wait. It is southern charmed, which comes both with the nice and the lay back. We came on a Saturday night right around 7pm they sat us fairly quick considering we were a part of 11. Other waitress was kind and helpful. I probably should've left a bigger tip. I just saw gratuity included on my bill, so I left it at that.
The bread was fresh and hot. Very tasty. The food was good. But we waited for about 1hr. To get our food. We saw people come in, eat, and out they went - while we still waited for ours. When I asked her to go ahead and bring whatever was done, she started bringing them out. She said the pizza takes longer because is made to order and is homemade. May be. And it was a good pizza. But I'm not sure if it was an hour wait good pizza. The pasta was good, the Victorian house has its charm. And the kids actually liked their food. Which says a lot since kids don't like most foods.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Mississippi! Like fine dining at a rich relative's house; it felt inviting and the food- wow! I felt like I was eating foods I had eaten a thousand times for the first time in my life. You'll just have to experience it- I feel like no bad food can possibly exist here. Every meal is served with fresh baked sourdough and your choice of sauce. The basil pesto blew me away and their house made Marinara was as creamy as fresh made tomato soup! You can choose to sit upstairs at the bar, inside, or outside. Wheelchair accessible, as well! I'm seriously blown away. Thank you so much to Becca for making our visit extra special! I only took photos so that I can set them as my wallpaper on my phone so I can daydream about eating them again.. it's that serious! Thank you all so much- we'll be back!

Food and service was wonderful! Prices are not bad either. It's just a few minutes off the interstate 59. We will definitely stop if traveling through Meridian MS. again. The house where located is on the National Registry of Historical Places. It is in need of repairs, but still beautiful.

The only place in town to get homemade sourdough with everything from the complimentary rolls to the pizza crust. The atmosphere is a great place for a date night with wonderful, attentive service.

Tried Amore Italian Restaurant in Meridian recently and really enjoyed it. The food tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were a good size for the price. I had the shrimp Genova and it was full of flavor and creamy. The waitress Becca was friendly and the manager Ana came to check on us a few times very friendly. The restaurant had a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a good spot if you’re craving Italian food in Meridian.

I recently visited Amore Italian Restaurant in Meridian, MS and it was such a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy Italian vibe that makes it a great place for a nice dinner with family or friends.
The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Cajun pasta del mare and it was cooked perfectly, the pasta was fresh and the sauce was creamy and flavorful with a little kick to it.
The service was also excellent. Our server Becca was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though the restaurant was fairly busy, our food came out quickly and everything was hot and fresh.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Amore Italian Restaurant to anyone in the Meridian area looking for authentic Italian food and a relaxed dining experience. I will definitely be coming back again!
