We eat at the Catfish Station frequently. The food is great, and service is usually quite good. The salad bar is the best one I know of anywhere. A lot of variety and things are fresh and prepared well. Lots of items you normally don’t see on salad bars. All the seafood is excellent. You see some negative reviews here…most if not all are from several years back. Management has changed a couple of times since then. They are also bringing a lot of talented local musicians in, and giving them a place to show off their talent. There is an amazing number of great musicians in our area. Give it a try, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.

I went for the live music but was really surprised by how great the place was! Great atmosphere, service, prices, and food. I had the ribeye and for dessert I had a slice of cheesecake. I will definitely be back!!!

The CATFISH STATION is a destination attraction if you are ever passing through Meridian Mississippi. Their food was as good as my grandmother’s. The perfectly-made homemade in-house banana pudding was so good that I wanted to lick the bowl. The family-owned restaurant staff welcomes customers and makes them feel at home. They are attentive to your dining needs by constantly checking on customer’s needs, wants, and satisfaction. The cooks come out of the kitchen to make sure you are enjoying the foods they’ve cooked with love. The ambiance of the interior is so comfortable that you really don’t want to leave. We ordered extra desserts just to stay a little longer. We will be repeat customers!!!

Just in town for the weekend and wanted to try something local - what a delight! My dad and I stopped in towards the end of the night and shared a seafood platter and we loved it. The fried oysters were perfect and all the breading had just a hint of spice that made everything extra delicious. The staff was really inviting and the owner (I presume) came by our table twice to chit chat and make sure we enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely stop in here again if I’m passing through.
