Dickey's Barbecue Pit

The checkout clerk was super sweet but that did not make up for the horrible, hostile, attitude of the guy who took our order and cut the meat. We asked for lean brisket and both plates had the most fat you could imagine. We got the impression that it was intentional. Management needs to think really hard about keeping the employee cutting the meat on Sunday, March 2. He made sure we would never return.

When we came they had an attitude with us, when we returned food that wasn’t our they could an attitude and said deal with it. There were several people waiting for their food order, and when asked about it, the cook also caught an attitude. And a worker threw food at a person and they also threw a cup at a person

The service and food were great!! I had lunch here and everything was hot. I ordered the brisket sandwich with a side of Mac n cheese. Y'all must give it a try!

Website states that they close at 9:00, when the hours of operation on the door state 8:00. Please fix this so customers won’t be confused

Dickeys is usually consistent. Stopped at this one on our way to Atlanta. Not impressed. Noon on a Saturday shopping center packed with customers. Meats were old and cold. Sausage was inedible. Bathrooms dirty. Restaurant in bad need of maintenance.
On a good note the okra and green beans were very good.

We were really disappointed with Dicky’s BBQ in Meridian. For the price we paid, we expected much better quality and portion sizes. Unfortunately, the food was terrible. The brisket was burnt and all of the meat was dry, lacking any real flavor or freshness. The beans & potatoes were OK but overall, it didn’t live up to our expectations, and we definitely didn’t feel we got our money’s worth.

Ok, this spot definitely beat my expectations! I walked in and was immediately met with polite and professional employees. Once I gave my order, rib dinner with fires and drink, it was completed fast, and the food was fresh and hot. The ribs were great!! Definitely revisit when in the area.

Purchased the 2 meat plate yesterday. The brisket was so burnt, I had to use a sharp knife to attempt to eat is. The 2nd meat was 2 ribs so does this mean if I got the rib plate, I would get 2 ribs? The price was almost $17. I won't be back.

Stop at Dickeys to grab something to eat.This the first time I had a bad experience.I start eating my Pull pork Sandwich,omg it looks so good,but every bite had a burnt taste.Like I say it looks so delicious,but every time I take a bite,it didn't taste like pulled pork at all ,just a burnt taste.
I tried to call back to let them know but didn't get an answer.

Just ate at dickies. We both got the chopped brisket sandwich. My son got the potatoes au gratin and I got mac & cheese. It was really good. Love to eat there. The free ice cream cone is a nice bonus.

Wish I could give a lower score because I was uncomfortable the whole time. Thank god the food was good. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had to clue what to do as a customer because the worker was talking so low. They appeared drunk that’s how clueless on how to order. Not to mention it was dirty.

Amazing service?the young lady who took my order gave me the best service I’ve had in a long time. She deserves a raise! I will definitely be coming back.
