This was probably my first and last time eating at jeans. While the food was pretty good, our waitress Vera did not make my experience here an enjoyable one. She was in a hurry, she didn’t take her time to listen, before you could complete your sentence, she was already walking off to the next table. When certain people sat in her area, she rushed to serve them and had a completely different attitude with other guests. I’m not sure why we passed several seats to be seated at the last table in the back. If you know meridian, and you’re familiar with Mississippi, I’m sure this review will be overlooked because certain people are treated differently here based of how they look. I will also leave a review on the better business bureau.

Jean's is an absolutely fantastic lunch. Our server was great, and the food is almost overwhelming. We had the fried pork chop and the hamburger steak. It's a shame I didn't make it to dessert.
It is really unfortunate that I have to rate a restaurant like this so low. I have a family member that was hospitalized from salmonella traced back to this restaurant. Many people have been sick from eating their food. It’s also really sad to see the owner of such a well known restaurant be so unprofessional. It has been made a joke on social media by the owner. Salmonella is not a joking matter. I would recommend not eating at this restaurant!

This place was great and came recommended by locals! The server was more than awesome! She deserves a raise! Her service was impeccable.
I had the chicken spaghetti and it was GREAT! It tastes like I got it from home! I'm from New Orleans, so this place was JUST like home cooking for me.
The white brownie was great for dessert too! I left that place walking sideways, the food was so good! 'Food coma' doesn't even begin to describe I how felt after that meal! Great Service, great food, great place!
