Well stocked and very friendly, you find everything you are looking for and the food is very good.
This is by far my favorite place to get Mexican food in Meridian!
My favorite dish so far is the torta hawaiana. It's the best thing I've ever eaten locally.
It's also cool that they have things you can't get anywhere else. For example I just got a bag of pizza flavored Doritos. I didn't even know that existed!
The people here are very nice and there is a great variety of food as well as fresh meats! I didn't try the taqueria but was very impressed by everything! I got some Tamarind Jarritos
Quaint market with hot food. Good Menudo on weekends, very friendly. We've been back a few times. I found by accident and so glad I did.

Very good authentic food of quality and flavor
It's a quaint place that makes you feel as if you've stepped in Mexico in Meridian..They have produce items as well as some grocery items and there are cute knick knacks all around..Way in the back is a little eaterie that has all all food Mexican at reasonable prices..so why the three.. Well, out of all the people that I tried to talk to.. Only one seemed to understand what I was saying..which was confusing to me..also they didn't have a to go menu so that you could order in..I guess maybe that will come later..Anyway these are just my thoughts.
The burritos at La Huastequita are delicious and the Tecate beer is cold.

It was great
Used to go here all the time when I worked at peavey and it is hands down bar none the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in my life. Get the chicken tacos with salsa verde and thank me later. The people that work here and run it are the kindest folks around.
Great selection and good prices. Friendly people. I'll be going back soon.

What a great place! Went for dinner. Tried a few different tacos. All were wonderful, and they have a great case of deserts if your still hungry after the meal. I will be back again.
