Shipley Do-Nuts Meridian

Every time we travel south, we have to stop at a Shipley Do-Nuts. When we stopped at this location, it was family runned. They were so nice and had wonderful service. Plus, the food was wonderful and everyone in our group of 8 liked it. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for great doughnuts with a positive atmosphere.

My husband and I went this morning before heading back to Georgia, the kolaches were great, but for it to be the first thing in the morning we got cold old donuts, tasted like they were from the day before and it was very disappointing.. I wanted to take them back and get my money back because we got a half dozen but since we had such a long trip ahead of us i just let it be and threw them out.. very dissatisfied. Shipley Do-Nuts is in a great location just south of N Hills street on MS-493. The shop is bright, new, and clean. The staff is cordial but not really engaging. I have been wanting to try their Apple Fritters but they are sold out most days I have tried. Today I got lucky and purchased a pair of the Apple Fritters. The dough part of fritter was good as I expected and the glaze was also good. What really disappointed me was the lack of any or any to speak of Apple filling. My wife...read full review
