Made a pit stop here during my road trip. Had dinner here and it was great! I had their meat sampler and everything was cooked right and seasoned great. Staff were friendly and service was good. There happened to be a country band performing and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely come back. Try their pork rinds. They're fresh and delicious.

Service was okay. Waitress was was barely more than a food shuttle. Food was okay. The brisket was dry, rubbery and tasted old; no flavor. Pork ribs were good, beef ribs were ….. beef ribs.
Basically, it was a bbq place that wasn’t worth going out of your way.

Great fried pork chops and pulled pork and fantastic sides. The pork rinds are to die for. Alex is a phenomenal server. Attentive and quick without hovering and let us enjoy our meal. Would recommend to anyone!

We utilized Squealers as our caterer for a private event and absolutely loved them. The food was fresh, tasty, and affordable!!! Mrs. Teresa is an absolute doll to work with and I could really see how much she cares about her restaurant and her customers. It also just so happens to be my husband and my favorite date spot. Thank you Teresa for being you!

The food is really good but the service is terrible. We were there for over 30 minutes and a waitress went to the tables all around us but never came to our table. We moved from the parking lot area to the porch and it was not any better. I finally went to the bar and asked for the manager and the young lady at the bar asked if she could help me. I explained to her what was going on and after she pretty much ignored what I was saying she said she would get someone to come out. There was another young lady at the bar that came to our table almost immediately after I got back. The service has been great since then but I still haven’t talked to the manager

After reading reviews, we drove 10+ minutes from the interstate to the location. We arrived at 6:45pm to find a handwritten sign on the door that stated they were closing at 7 pm for a large party. When we entered we were hopeful they could serve us and we could sit outside and eat. We were quickly informed they weren't serving any longer. Unfortunately, we left hungry and tired from our 4 hour drive, to drive 10 additional minutes to find another restaurant. On our return trip, we did not patronize this restaurant since we were not offered service on our initial stop.

My tastebuds squealed for joy here that’s for sure. We got the sampler platter because we just couldn’t choose and afterwards we still couldn’t choose!

The service was so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere so casual and relaxing, and the food filled me up for days.

My favorite was the fried okra and pulled pork, though i LOVED the sausage too. My boyfriend’s favorite was the chicken, he couldn’t get enough - seasoned to perfection.

Definitely a Meridian gem and worth a visit

I ordered a brisket sandwich and half of smoked chicken, with fried okra. I don't eat pork so I can't speak on it. The brisket was really dry, and the chicken had no flavor. I wished I'd ordered a bunch of fried okra. I don't know what kind of seasoning they used, but it was definitely the best okra I've ever had! Anthony was our waiter, and absolutely had great customer service. This restaurant has great prices, and most of the menu is pork, which all the people around me seemed to be enjoying it.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and great staff to help you. Everyone was happy with their food and portion sizes. I wouldn't recommend the turkey sandwich. It was three pieces of thin turkey on a hamburger bun. My meal left much to be desired, the regret was palpable.
