I have had Caribbean food all over the country, but this place, do yourself a favor and get some food from these people, they will not disappoint, I work in Chicago, I live in Myrtle Beach and this Caribbean food is the best I’ve tasted, keep up the good work guys, thank you for a great meal..

My sister and I stopped by yesterday evening, when we walked in the waitress didn’t greet us. She looked, finished talking to the gentlemen she was serving, and walked to the back- never to return for 10 minutes. Several customers came to pick up food, the bartender took care of them. But she never acknowledged us either. A guy with an apron came through on his phone. He didn’t look up. Finally, the waitress came back out and was chatting it up with some customers who just walked in and came to the bar. We decided to leave, the waitress never even looked at us as we exited. On our way to the car we saw the guy, I’m assuming the cook, posted up outside on his phone. The place wasn’t packed at all. We went to Weidman’s where they served us right away. We were so disappointed!

This was our first time eating here and we will most definitely be back!!!! The food and the whole experience was absolutely phenomenal!!!!! I got the curry chicken with rice and cabbage, my husband got brown stew chicken with rice and greens, and my daughter got the jerk chicken with Mac and cheese. We also sampled some oxtail and Soursop drinks. I can't even begin to describe how flavorful, hearty and savory the food was!!! The meats were fall off the bone tender! The best curry I've ever had hands down! The atmosphere was laid back and the owners and staff were awesome! It was SO NICE having a great conversation about the love of food and his recommendations were spot on! If you havent eaten here, do yourself a favor and GO!

We happened upon this place because I was in search of authentic Jamaican beef patties for my wife. I've had the cheap ones from the grocery store, and this one was not them. It was spicy, moist, and very flavorful. I had the Oxtails, mac and cheese, and greens. The Oxtails were cooked to perfection and highly seasoned. I do wish they came with rice, and it was not just offered as another side. I just think that for the price of this plate, it should be included. Both the mac and cheese and greens were seasoned extremely well and were delicious. My wife had the jerk wings with cabbage greens and mac and cheese. The wings were actually grilled and cooked perfectly. She absolutely loved them as well as the cabbage greens. The ONLY issue was that we waited almost an hour for our food with no explanation. Which is why I only gave 4 stars for service. I don't think this is normal because plenty of people came in after us and received their food before us. Overall, we will definitely be going back and would recommend that anyone in the area go and give them a try also.
