It’s worth your time to go if you’re in the area. The service is always spectacular and the food amazing! (If you’re a picky eater, this isn’t for you. It’s a limited menu…which isn’t a bad thing. Just know that ahead of time)

The building is all but falling in. The floors feel like you're walking on a trampoline and the ceiling leaks in the "lobby". Our server seemed pretty mad for an unknown reason. I guess it's all about the "experience ", but I'd rather not experience any of it ever again. Also, please spray for mosquitoes at the gallery and at the shop, I am now covered in bites. Thanks...

We had lunch reservations after spending the morning at McCarty Pottery. The service was great, however,, the food was horrible. The ice cream on top of the dessert was the best thing about the meal. And it’s expensive. Not many options for lunch in this small town but go elsewhere if possible.

Quaint and good service. But food selection is extremely limited and if you don't like the cooked veggies sides, you're out of luck and will go home hungry. Corn muffins come with everything, and they are dry and bland. Ice cream on cobbler dessert is good, but the cobble itself was too sweet for my taste, and contained no actual pieces of fruit. I went on Friday knowing that tamales are available on Fridays and Saturdays, only to be disappointed they weren't available after all. 20% tip is automatically added to every ticket.
Love the Chocolate Cobbler!
Great food and the service was very nice. Loved the use of all the McCarty pottery on the table. The vases with fresh flowers was a special touch. Called a week before and made reservations since we were traveling.
Great place to eat. Very limited menu, but food was excellent. The Chocolate Cobbler was outstanding. Must have reservations to enter. Plan you McCarthy Pottery trip around lunch time.

Cute setting. All dishes were served on McCarty pottery which was a nice touch. The waitresses were attentive and all the food was fresh. I ordered the chicken crepes as my meal along with a side portion of the chicken salad. Both dishes were tasty - it will depend on if you want a hot or cold entree when you go. For dessert I got a half portion of both cobbler options. The caramel was definitely my favorite!

All food and drinks are served on McCarty Pottery. Service was great. Food was amazing. You have a choice of two chicken dishes that come with two set sides. I highly recommend the merrigold tomatoes and the greenbean salad. The Bloody Mary's are lovely and the chocolate cobbler is so rich you will need to share it.
Unusual ambience.
Plan your visit to McCarty Pottery around lunchtime to eat at this charming place. Limited menu but food is good and likely the best you will find close by. And you eat on and drink from the pottery itself.
Very disappointed. Showed up today about 10 min after opening time. Did not have a reservation so was turned away despite entire restaurant being nearly empty as it was still early. Drove an hour and a half to have lunch there. I have eaten there twice before in previous years after pottery shopping and never had to have a reservation before. On a positive note there were some great dining choices today in nearby Clarksdale, MS just a few miles down the road.
