I arrived at Captain D's in Moss Point and noticed the parking lot was surprisingly empty. This led me to believe that stepping inside might expedite my service, rather than idling in the drive-thru. I'm not inclined to leave a negative review for Captain D's; however, I would gently suggest that perhaps an increase in staffing could be beneficial. Additionally, it might be advantageous for the state of Mississippi to offer more support to those in the restaurant industry.

I love their food it’s always delicious and nice portions for what you pay…. But STAY AWAY FROM THEIR “seafood gumbo” ……it’s seriously a trap, it’s literally 95% rice. There wasn’t a single piece of shrimp, No sausage, maybe a speck of chicken and damn sure no okra…. This gumbo is a whole scam. Large cup was nothing but rice and a spoon full of actual gumbo…. Will never buy again. I actually want my money back.
