“I was in the area for work today. I was really wanting some country cooking. Google brought me to Faye’s Kitchen. As soon as I walked in the door I was greeted by Faye herself. She gave me a sample plate of all the sides and each dish was delicious. It was so hard to choose which one was the best. I chose the rib plate with three sides and banana pudding. All of it was delicious and enough food for two people. Customer service was next level. Everyone spoke and was super nice. I’ll definitely become a regular, any time I’m near this way with work I’m coming to Faye’s Kitchen!!”

“First restaurant to ever make me say: This is better than my grandmothers.Also im uncomfy in resteraunt atmospheres...social anxiety if you will. We talked to people at other tables it was wonderful.My partner even said they were shocked they had never seen me comfortable in a resteraunt.Yes the wings are dank but so is the collard greens, cornbread, okra and the cobbler.The wings are better than Jaydens in Nola... Sry.”

“We sought out a "local" place and this is the model for such a jewel. Very good buffet lunch choices with neighbors who work or maybe live in the area. Nice friendly banter. Terrific staff. Very fair pricing of fifteen dollars each for everything. It has a gravel drive and might look closed but it is not. Some of the customers reported driving quite a way just to eat there. We made a few efforts to find local places in our cross/country road trip and some fail, some and kinda ok and this was a real find!”

“Hands down, a delicious hand-patted burger on fresh bread, with fresh tomato, onion, and a crunchy pickle. The fries were excellent, the service was friendly, and the restrooms were clean. My son and I stopped by for lunch, and we will definitely be back!”

“Was good except for the parking. When we came back to the marina after a day on the river, we had a note on our car telling us to park with the other cars. Mind you we did park where the other cars were parked when we got and they got little notes as well. I suggest they post no parking signs where they don't want people parking. It was our first time going there.”

We have had the pasta dishes, fried seafood, and the last time we had the bacon, cheese burger with the fried onions and sweet potato fries. The burger's meat was at least 3/4" thick, obviously hand made, cooked precisely to medium rare with fresh tomato and lettuce.”
