“My husband and I played The Preserve on Friday, October 11, 2019 and was warmly greeted with a smile from Skip and Ron. The preserve is a beautiful course and our favorite on the Coast. Upon completion of our round, I realized I had lost a ring somewhere around our car as we were loading the clubs onto the cart or near the practice range. Just a few minutes after I discovered I had lost the ring, Ron drove up to help get our clubs into our vehicle and inquired about our round. I told him it was wonderful except I had lost a ring. He said the ring was no longer lost because he had found it near the practice range and it was in the pro shop. The service at the course is always excellent but Ron’s friendliness and honesty was top notch. Please convey our gratefulness to Ron and our thanks to Skip for our wonderful, warm experience there.”

“Had a great experience there this past Saturday. Everything was good, sat outside. When we left mywife forgot her purse. Monday i called, they had her purse and I drove down and picked it up on Tuesday. Everything, including cash, was all there. Gabby was a wonderful waitress and took good care of the lost item for us. When I reached out the day before the party just to confirm the order, I realized (to my horror) that I had scheduled it for the following week. Despite the short notice, Lacey went above and beyond—she put other plans on hold to accommodate my urgent request. I was beyond grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help me fix a mistake that could’ve ruined our celebration. Thanks so much, Lacey’s Cakes! “I have come 3 days in a row, the hot cocoa is sooo good. I am kicking myself for not coming sooner. I can actually afford to get myself one (large) and 2 smalls for kids around $10! Can’t do that at other big chains. Not to mention the hot cocoa is so rich, it almost tastes like it has melted marshmallow. I am so grateful for this location and the decent pricing. “Waitress was attentive. Atmosphere was laid back and chill. Food was really good. We shared a fried pickle appetizer, which was good with the homemade roumelade sauce was good, came with homemade ranch too. I had the Woody burger and hubby had the mahi burger. They cook burgers to medium, so if you prefer more doneness, let your server know! Cocktails were good, not watered down. Dessert was rich, but good. We enjoyed our meal.”

“Been here twice. First visit, on a slow weekday in October, sat outside, beautiful weather, & we both got the salad with 2 fried apple rings that were delicious!! Decided to go back on the Sat of the arts & crafts festival, Oct 8th, and it was the wrong time to go! Restaurant was packed, whole outside lined up with people buying alcoholic drinks, floor all wet, & hard to get in. After being seated, we ordered & got our salads, which were half the size of what they were the 1st time, with only ONE apple ring. When we asked about this, a young woman said it was because of the volume of crowd they were trying to serve, so i asked why they weren't compensating a little on the price? She didn't like that, & said she'd see what she could do. Twenty minutes later, she came by with 2 fried apple rings, swiftly threw them on the table, never looked or said a word, then ran off. She was so rude about it, it was awful! I hope if we go back, we never get HER for service!!!”
