So I paid a visit to the actual Granny Pryor's Store in Moss Point Mississippi. Truly, everyone should make the trip especially if you love Pound Cake. All the flavors, slices, half cakes, and full cakes available. Oh, the smell of pound cake baking was so amazing. Best pound cake ever! Moist, flavorful, and lasting! And then there is Bubba! The best delicious pound cake I have ever had! My new favorite is the chocolate covered strawberry pound cake I purchased during Valentine's Day. My year round favorite is butter pecan. This reminds me of baking pound cakes at Thanksgiving with my family using my grandmother's recipe. Great memories and great poundcake! It is so good I drive from Bayou La Batre, Alabama to get these pound cakes! You do not want to miss trying them.
