so happy to see Faye's is still going strong ! i was there working hurricane damage after Isaac in 2012 as a lineman with the phone company . we were working some poles across the street when we started to smell what was cooking . then about 10:30 or so the line started to form wrapping around the block . when we got done about 3:30 we had to try it . food and service so good i felt compelled to write about it today . i had pork chops and gravy with beans and fried okra in portions big enough this big burly lineman had to take leftovers back to the hotel and an atmosphere that made me feel i was with family . we went back several times while we were there and if i am ever anywhere close i will go at least 100 miles out of my way to eat there again .

Omg the food Jesus. The way my back needs an extension cord and spanx. Her food is sooooooo GOOD! We came all the way from D.C. and the locals brought us here. Omg Ma. Faye! She put her foot in the food! Get the meatloaf, fried pork chop, gravy and rice, Lima beans and green beans. Oh and CAKE! The lemon cake! So moist and gooey! I’m telling yall this place is so good!

The food was delicious! They give generous portions, enough that you can eat from a least twice, depending on how much you can eat. Even my mom at all her food, which she hardly does.
First time here the food is great you can taste the love.. this is my go to spot for soul food from this day on...

Listen I don't know who prepared this food or what ancestors blessed them but all I know is this food was amazing I need to come tip that chef and this staff. My plate was filled with a great amount of food and everything was so amazing. When I tell you every other place in moss point need to take lessons to see what Faye's kitchen is doing I mean just that!!! I will be back tomorrow!

LISSSSSSSON!!!..If you are ever in Moss Point Mississippi, or just passing by and you want some good ole down cooking soul food, I suggest that you head to FAYE'S KITCHEN, I promise, you will not be disappointed. They have a different selection of food items each day, and the price is well worth it. The portions are enough for 2 days. This is the spot!!!! I love you all Ms. Fay and the family!!!!

Visited there from SC on 06/20/2025. I always say, don't judge a book by its cover. This place has some of the best soul food I have ever tasted in my life. They give you more than enough food for your money. The service and the staff were great. Plan to patronize again on my next trip to Mississippi.
