The Lumberyard Bar and Grill in Moss Point has been a great addition to our little town. The management has done a great job of creating a menu that is manageable and perfect for the riverfront location. While the cooks have changed since opening and the menu has had many revisions, I see a promising future. If you tried it before, I suggest you try it again as the experience is better with every visit.
Kid-friendliness: It has a great family atmosphere.

When I first walked in the waitress finally asked me what I wanted to drink. I said does it come with it? She said no, it was $2 more well. When I made a clarity on Facebook they told me the drink was included in the price. Anyway, let's start with the food. Oh my God it was nasty. The sausage patties were deep fried. Why would you deep fry sausage patties and they were so crusty on the outside and very thin. The bacon was cooked in an oven or something. It was like freaking beef jerky. I asked if they have regular hash browns they said no. I said well which one in there is your hashbrown casserole. The waitress now get this. Says the one with the hash browns in it. Well I couldn't tell because it was like mush and they have plastic guards over the buffet and it was all steamed up so it was hard to see the food. The pancakes were were paper thin and about the size of a coaster. The syrup was cold. The lid to the syrup to open it up was stuck. The sausage gravy was so thick. Add it with a biscuit. You needed a gallon of milk to wash it down. The eggs. I don't know what the heck they were but they look nasty. It was not worth the money. I'm sorry people walked out when I was in there. They need to do something. Put some love in it. I had to get my own paper towels. No condiments on the table. I had to ask for condiments. They don't even offer knives with their silverware. I guess you have to ask for one. It was a joke. It was a joke. I don't think Management cares because I see a lot of complaints that are a few months old and nothing has changed but reputation will change that and they will not last.

The building had a smell that gave me a headache. The onion rings were greasy and overcooked. Not impressed
Great service, friendly staff, and good food ?

My husband and I were looking forward to the breakfast buffet and giving business to a local restaurant. We were very disappointed! What little food was available was cold and dried out. We waited and nothing was ever replenished. The service was mediocre and they charged way too much! We will not be back!

Would have loved to try the buffet but since they had no wheelchair ramp, for my husband in a wheelchair, we had to settle for going to their sister business and have our food delivered in to go containers. It was good and will definitely order again, but would really like to enjoy the buffet. We were told that they didn't have a ramp was because they couldn't get a building permit from the city. If that be the case then the city will have an issue if the restaurant has a lawsuit due to inaccessibility for the disabled. What food we did get was delicious but would have liked to try it in the restaurant and not in their sister business from to go containers.
Wheelchair accessibility: THERE IS NONE if you are in a wheelchair you will have to go to their sister business and have your food delivered in to go containers.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is great. I especially love the brunch! Crabcakes, eggs, Benny, and shrimp and grits are my favorite. The last time I was there, I ordered a dozen oysters Rockefeller, and they were outstanding. The bloody Mary special on Sunday. This is hard to beat too.
