We went there last night (2-14-25) for dinner and yes I knew it was going to be very crowded and busy but we haven't have Appleebee's in a long time so we thought we would go and have a nice dinner. Well, when we got there, there was a short wait for a table, which is understandable, but once we got seated, I swear they forgot about us. The hostess sat us at our table and we sat there for a good 15-20 minutes before someone finally recognized us and took our drink order....

I got the "large" bowl of the chicken basil soup... It tasted great... But had less than half a cup in it. Honestly... I've had a cup of soup with more at other restaurants. The main meal, the honey chicken Mac and cheese... The chicken was great... But there was more milk than cheese... Very runny and not much flavor.

You never go to Applebee's expecting the absolute best thing you have ever ate (although the quesadilla burger may be the exception). But you can go there knowing you are going to get good tasty food in a nice setting. The menu is always consistently good. I hate when people use the word "mediocre" to describe anything. I'm at APPLEBEES! It's good food...some of it great food...at a fair price. And I will keep coming back.
