“Wowza! My sisters and I met for her 60th birthday. We got into town late and decided to have drinks and appetizers before we called it a night. I can’t describe how pleasantly surprised we were to find this place!!! The atmosphere is phenomenal…..artsy, eclectic, intimate…..and the food is amazing! Met the owner and he’s super too! We are from he Dallas area and are no strangers to fine dining, and this is a hidden gem!!!! We usually like to try different establishments every day when we are traveling, but this place was so great, we came back and will do so again if we come back!”

“I lower the star for flying insects at the entrance, and for salty meat. I ordered hot sausage.Otherwise, the service and service are top-notch, very friendly guys! It would be nice to add a place where you can wash your hands”
“Enjoyed the cafe con leche, a must visit for those in Natchez on Sunday morning looking for a quality cuppa coffee. I will return for more of the same.I did return and it was equally as good; so, consistancy in quality! Even the servers staffed were the same. Great place for a bit of caffeine.”

“Great place for hibachi. We've been several times. The hoods are spotless, and the fish tanks are beautiful. Clearly well cared for inside and the staff are accommodating of food allergies and sensitivities. Best place for Japanese food in Natches and worth the drive from St. Francisville.Dietary restrictions: Flexible and easy to accommodate allergies with hibachi”

“We Googled “best places to eat in Natchez” and this restaurant popped up. We decided to give it a try and weren’t disappointed. We had the pork chops, catfish, and burger. All of us loved our food and the service was great! The waitress asked if we were going to be in town Sunday because they do a buffet. We decided to go back for the Sunday buffet. Everything was fantastic and probably the best food I ate in my life. The fried chicken and mashed were potatoes were definitely some of the best ones I ever had. My husband loved the stuffed catfish. He has ate a lot of catfish in his life and said this was the best he’s ever tasted. The price for the buffet was great! They’re super nice there and it’s a family run business. If you want to support local, please check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. I’m already wanting a trip back to Natchez, so I can stop back there to eat.”

“We are there week before last. Our whole party of 4 loved the food. I don’t remember everyone else’s meals, but I had a huge bowl of deliciousness involving shrimp and penne noodles in a cream sauce that was SO GOOD! Portions were large! I like to eat, but I couldn’t finish it! Great food, reasonable price, good atmosphere, and good service. Next time we are in Natchez, we’ll go back!”

“I absolutely LOVE County Pie! I drive out of state just to come enjoy the food and atmosphere! Everything on their menu is delicious: hot sandwiches, pizzas, calzones, burgers, even my favorite version of fries: crinkle cut! The service is on the ball, hard working, diligent, polite, relatable. If ever in the Natchez area, you need to make County Pie a stop! The prices are also very reasonable for the quality of food and service! A great meal without hurting you hard in the wallet! Cannot recommend them enough!”

“Stopped in while we were traveling through Mississippi. The host asked if we wanted a high top table, we said "sure", didn't realize that the bartender was also our waitress.I ordered a chef salad with a cup of broccoli cheese soup, I'd love to show you the cup of soup but it never came! Even after saying something.Husband ordered catfish with a coleslaw with an upcharge for his salad. The two pieces of catfish were very big and ended up bringing one home. The coleslaw was good. The salad is a salad ..”
“Taylor is the best bartender and the locals that hangout there are super nice and welcoming. The live music was great as well. I love this bar so much! You have to experience it for yourself.”

“Edit 2024: New owners, and still awesome. The hotel... not good at all. Going to give them one more try to see if they get it together, but the restaurant is still on point.2018 review - We didn't stay at the main house; instead, we just stopped in for brunch at the Castle Restaurant behind the house. I had my doubts all the way until I swung open the massive, wooden door, and was greeted by a wonderful Hostess, a grand fireplace right in the entrance, and the smell of bacon frying. For whatever reason, the hostess, servers, and other patrons were speaking in almost a whisper. I'm not certain if this is typical of this place or perhaps just a fluke that morning, but my entire table disregarded that "custom", and spoke in a respectfully audible tone. The place had an awesome feel about it (speaking of the upstairs); both unequivocally aged, and pleasantly sophisticated. The mimosas were outstanding, and the food was good. Really good!Having brunch here gave me that feeling that I used to get when I was a kid and would travel with my parents and stay in very old bed and breakfasts set in old houses and old schools, and always with large fireplaces as the centerpieces. We intend to revisit this restaurant again this year.”

“The Restaurant 1818 is a wonderful choice for anyone in Natchez and is especially convenient for guests at Monmouth Home. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated with period furnishings. The atmosphere is great and the food is top notch. The service staff are all first class, very friendly and helpful. “While I happened to be in the mood for lighter fare today (the Czech pilsner and wheat), I did get the opportunity to sample the doppelbock and quad and felt an obligation to post this review. As a lover of authentic German and Belgian style beers who has tried many of these beers games breweries across Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas/Fort Worth, and Denver in particular and a few others around the world, these are hands down the best German/Belgian beers I've had outside of German and Belgian breweries. In Mississippi of all places. Highly recommend you try this place if you share my love of these varieties of beer.”

“Our server, Linda, was very sweet & attentive, the biscuits with apricot butter were amazing (wanted to order more, but didn't dare, lol!) & the food was very good. I'm only giving 4 stars for the food, because my husband & I both ordered grilled shrimp & they were a little over-cooked, but otherwise tasted good. Will definitely come back on future trips to Natchez......!”

“A group of four of us went for lunch. I had a shrimp boil that came with cold slaw, hush puppies, boudin balls, potatoes, and corn on the cobb. In addition, I ordered more boudin balls and fried okra to share with the group. My wife ordered a Red Top grilled chicken sandwich. The other couple split a shrimp boil. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and peeling wasn't difficult. The young women servers were all very friendly and helpful. You place your order as you enter, and your food is brought to you. The dining area isn't fancy but is well kept and clean.”
“Nice little local bar filled with regulars that were happy to meet us. Wednesday night they cook steaks that they all rave about. But it was Monday so we left for dinner.”

“Lots of great options on their menu. Kid friendly too, which was important for us for lunch. The staff was friendly and timely on refills...considering we were seated upstairs, says a great deal about our server. The gar-mesan fries were excellent. I had the Chessus, which tasted great, but was a little more difficult to eat than I initially thought it would be due to fingers going through the grilled cheese sandwich "buns", but did not regret ordering it at all. Very much recommend and we will be back.Kid-friendliness: Only 3 options, but that was enough for us. Grilled cheese and chicken tenders are usually great options to have for kids and they have both.”
“This place was amazing. Right on the river, the atmosphere was amazing, all the Bartenders were super friendly and fast. The venue itself was clean but with a historic look and feel to it. Truly amazing. Great”

“We picked this stop just randomly as we were passing by. We were greeted with the nicest host and sat at the bar. Our bartender was so nice the whole time! He made the best drinks and gave jelly shots as we listened to the live band that night. We ordered some food while waiting - Chicken Quesadilla and Loaded Curly Fries. My husband said that was the best quesadilla he’s ever eaten. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly employees, and good music.”

“Really enjoyed the atmosphere and service here during our overnight stop in Natchez. And the food was DELISH!! Yummy (sweet) dressing to dip the garlic bread! Highly recommend!!!!”
