Edit 2024: New owners, and still awesome. The hotel... not good at all. Going to give them one more try to see if they get it together, but the restaurant is still on point.2018 review - We didn't stay at the main house; instead, we just stopped in for brunch at the Castle Restaurant behind the house. Wonderful food and experience. Seated promptly. Beautiful ambience with candlelight dinner. Food and service was great. Only downside was the tables were seated pretty close together so you could hear other couples chatting.

Visit the tavern, the manager is a treat to talk mixology with. The drinks were spot on - cosmo, aviation, martini and the old fashioned. The restaurant was very nice, great service and the food was very good. It all came together well and made our 40th wedding anniversary a special memory. We will definitely make plans to visit again in the near future
