My wife and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. We stayed in the charming guest house. The rooms were lavishly decorated with antiques and historic family paintings. Joseph, our host was extremely gracious and personally served us a gourmet breakfast he prepared himself in his period dining room each morning of our stay. The loveliest little spot in Natchez! We stayed in the sweet guest house with wonderfully comfortable beds, decorated with antiques, paintings, historic maps and photos. Our breakfast was served in royal fashion and was delicious. Our musical evening of piano was excellent. Mr. Stone explained the music without making us feel like numpties, and I felt like a queen being serenaded! The host knows all about Natchez and can make recommendations for all the doings around town.
We enjoyed everything about our stay at Stone House Musical B&B. The location is perfectly located with a short walk to downtown Natchez. It’s right in the middle of everything, but you’d never know it because it feels so secluded because of the surrounding nature. The cottage is great, with 2 outdoor seating areas, complete with the sound of water coming from a couple of fountains. The "Master Chef's" breakfasts are some of the absolute best, and the host, Joe Stone, is very personable, knowledgeable, and polite. Guests are treated like royalty and enjoy chatting with the host, who is the great-great-grandson of the original owner. The photos do not do enough justice to this charming and precious experience.
