Restaurant 1818 Reviews
Service was wonderful, the best Redfish in town ! The lamb was cooked perfectly. Fried green tomatoes with just the right breading. Top it off with a rich bread pudding..wow !! A definite 5 star experience.
Great dinner at the 1818 restaurant. We were very lucky to have met the chef, Kenny, and be served by such a great server, George. The food and atmosphere were amazing. My son and I had the redfish for dinner. And we
All had the lamb chop lollipops for a starter. Both were exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re passing through Natchez, especially if you’re staying at the Monmouth Inn on the same property!!
Great Experience

Restaurant 1818 offers a top-tier dining experience that exceeds expectations. The chef's special dish and red wine from Spain are highlights, while the service is wonderful and attentive. The restaurant provides a quiet and reserved atmosphere, making it ideal for special occasions or romantic dinners. The food is delicious, with dishes such as ribeye, pasta, and the memorable blackened redfish cooked to perfection. The wine menu is extensive, although cocktails are not a focus. The ambience is calm and elegant, perfect for intimate conversations. Guests appreciate the beautiful house and the lovely garden patio area in the back, adding to the overall experience. While some may find the setting a bit traditional or quiet, the warm greetings from the staff and the knowledgeable waiters create a welcoming environment. The chef is talented, and the overall food has been done very well. Overall, Restaurant 1818 is a great choice for a memorable meal with excellent food and service.
