My first time in The Butter Cakery was such a pleasant experience. We tried the flavorful and picturesque macarons. The ladies behind the counter were engaging and passionate about their treats. I highly recommend this establishment for an afternoon pick me up.

We did not have the same experience as others for sure. I ordered the strawberry cupcake and it was so dry that it was hard to cut into with the plastic spoon. I gave my husband a bite and he asked why I would do that because it was so bad. Strawberry on top was soggy and old too. Had to throw it away when we passed a trash can. Super disappointed.

Wowowow! This place is an absolute must. Such a gem!!! Was in town for only a few days but so impressed the first time, I had to stop by twice!! Must try’s are the lavender cookies and banana pudding. Can’t wait to come back and try it all :)

Best eating place in all Natchez! Food is delicious, service is kind and attentive. My favorite member of the staff is Bean. He doesn’t say much, but makes you feel at home immediately.A trip to Natchez without a stop at the Butter Cakery is pointless!
if you are a lover of food, this is the shop for you. if you want baked goods that are full of interesting and complex flavors, remind you of waking up to the smell of fresh baked treats from your childhood, this is the bakery for you. every cookie, cupcake and cake slice strikes the perfect balance between sweet and aromatic. the lavender cookies are out of this world, the banana pudding is irresistible, and the berry chantilly cupcakes will blow your mind. people drive from as far as monroe, louisiana just to check on the new flavors. but be warned, if you're just looking for deserts that make your teeth hurt because they're packed full of sugar, this isn't the shop for you.

Tried this today for the first time and it did not disappoint! My mom and I got a lavender cookie, carrot cake cookie, and a lemon cheese cupcake. We tried a bit of it all. The lavender cookie may be the most fabulous thing ever - love the icing and love even more that it’s barely sweet. The carrot cake was delicious as well. The lemon cheesecake cupcake was also wonderful- light fresh lemon flavor and it really hit the spot. The cake was not too dense and not a hint of dryness like some other cupcakes around town. We will be back!

The cakes are not soft or moist. They are cornbread dressed as cardboard. The icing is mostly butter with a few scoops of sugar. tried them there, but also at a wedding, Both were absolutely utterly erroneous.

Was in town for Christmas and picked up a dozen cupcakes for my brother and was I shocked about how good they were. The cake was moist and delicious. The buttercream was light, super creamy and not overly sweet as you sometimes find. I have to say some of the very best cupcakes I have ever eaten. Stop by and give yourself a treat to a very fine cupcake.
